As a german I find the german client to not just be cringe-inducing but listening to it makes me physically and mentally ill.. all I hear listening to Alphinaud is some Dragonball Cartoon villain and listening to Alisae.. pronouncing names like "Eorzea" in this cringe germanified tone as BART SIMPSON.. I know the voice of Alisae is weird already in english because the voice actress is so old.. but dare and watch the german subbed confrontation of Alisae vs. Warriors of Darkness.. I dare you. I double dare you.. your teeth will fall out. It's the worst acting of a 40+ year old woman to sound like Bart Simpson you ever heard.
As a german myself I have to say that the german dub is the worst thing I've ever heard in a Square Enix game. After a long time of ignoring the german dub, I decided to watch the Endwalker trailer in german. I cringed so much at Alphinaud's voice that I couldn't stand the six minutes and stopped watching
