  1. I just have one question when it comes to "Quality of Life" updates.

Where the fuck are my chat bubbles and my job wheel updates at?!

I know chatbubbles are more of a personal preference but goddamn sometimes when I'm in a populated area and we're all talking in public, I just want to see the chat bubbles

  2. But they did say they would be looking into mods popularly used or just, mods in general, and seeing which ones they think they can add to the game to give access to the console player.

Doesn't need to be a sacrificial lamb if they've got a pc in the office they run mods on to see which ones they like. They know they won't win against mods kf they do nothing, but "mods at home" make it less likely people use 3rd party programs.

Still won't stop every raider under the sun using a DPS check even if they use it responsibly to track and improve their own damage.

  3. i still dont get the reaction over this. They said don't use 3rd party so don't use it or accept the ban risk. They're adding this shit into the game so people don't have to use third party options. They're so lenient anyways that as long as you're not streaming mods they don't care anyway.

  4. Why do they keep adding mods? Simple because they can see the use of them and acknowledge that fact.

They have never banned people for "using" mods, they have banned people for flaunting the fact they use mods.

I've been playing this game for 7 years at this point and I've never been banned because I shut the hell up about it in game, and if I know I'm going to be showing off my screen to turn all that shit off.

Giving them a hard time for implementing useful tools regardless of if mods did it first or not is just stupid honestly.

  5. As many have said – Console players can't use mods. It'll give an unfair advantage. Also lets address the elephant in the room. Some mods are stupid to get banned for, but if it makes a fight easier. Then nah, stop being a lil beach and learn the fight and mechanics.

  6. Japanese men don't like beards, it is shunned down by their society as "vulgar" or "homeless-like" look on men. Yeah, idiotic, but that is how it is for them so it is natural that most J RPGs and j games have poor beard selection

  8. I love how Yoshi grabs the axolotl like its a gun. You know hes one of us. I bet when he was a kid, he would run around with a stick in his hand, pretending to shoot things. You know, the thing we all do when we see that perfect stick.

  9. Third-party mods that are cosmetic in nature are fine, those that calculate numbers are fine. Those that make the gameplay easie are not fine. People say you can't draw a line but I think you can. I believe Yoshi doesn't really care about act, but doesn't officially support it cause it can cause toxicity. I personally like act, but triggers are crossing the line. They make gameplay easier. I can see the line, can you? I dont think its really complicated. I do see how it's hypocritical if se is banning cosmetic mods. I am not really into this space so I don't know if they are actually getting banned or not.

  10. From my understanding is that they refuse 3rd party because that would open the floodgates to any 3rd party program becays they couldn't realistically moderate it, so they observe the actual Plug-ins and add them in the main game. Ideally in the end we won't need Plug-ins since they'll be in game

  11. The fact that some mods are a good idea does not mean mods should be allowed. You do know that some of them trivialize the game and should NOT be part of the game.

The only thing I agree on with you on that is that for benign mods none should get banned and hopefully it is like that.

If I have to choose though between no mods or all mods I will ALWAYS choose no mods. And since there cannot be a middle ground policy since people will claim well I did not know my mod destroys the game (e.g. camera at 653462622563246435636km distance or showing affected tiles) they have to take the no mods policy and also since there are console players too.

You said all this in your videos before as well and you seem to understand why it is done but you keep pushing for all mods to be released? Do you want the game to turn into another WoW where everything is designed with the presupposition that everyone uses gamebreaking mods so you end up with raids that the ones who finish them use a particular mod or have to wait for it to be created?

  12. As a glamour main I would love for a massive expansion to the number of glam plates cause whenever I want to make a new one I have to decide which of the outfits is my least favorite

  13. People are already complaining about Fairy Glam because it's not gonna add any new glam to the game, just reusing what SMN can already use minus the Primals. Which tbf, I hope the Devs do add more Egi/Fairy glams in the future. We have all of Alphi's carbies that we can't use for example that will most likely never see the light of day now that Alphi is full time Sage(outside of older dungeons).

  14. I still remember how I said "I hope that they will add this thing that shows if I have claimed item or not" and got dissed by people who started "It will put too much load on server to do this" and then SE implements that into core game. Yeah, too much load my ass!

QoL mods are not bad. Why I can't see people who are from my FC in the duty? Why I can't discern my FC members from the crowd by color? I can do that with friends, why not FC members?

  15. Modders do need banned though, they're playing the game as it's not intended. What NEEDS to happen, is the game to go back to being difficult so we as a community can focus on that and grow instead of becoming toxic like it has been.

  16. no it makes sense?
he's just making giving even less reason for people to use mods?
I'd imagine there's eventually no reason for people to mod the game for people who only raid as mods exist to improve something that the game is missing?

  17. I don’t mind things like this or reshade. I do mind DBM style shit that basically plays the fucking game for you. The issue is you cant say yes to one but not the other.
