  1. The upside is now i don't have to worry so much about getting all the HW EX primals for my Phoenix mount as much.

    The downside is i still want the HW phoenix mount and think it's got a better colour scheme. xD

    But this is the next best thing (better even in terms of lore and call backs) and i'm going to get it for ALL of my characters.<3

  2. Hey it's the rising! I find it unsurprising, that the Phoenix would be ascending this anniversary time see! I like mounts that can be seen a flying! On the back of legendary birds I will be in the heavens while I sight see.! Going across land, air, and sea my hommies, yes they will see me! Flying all about as I become a legend that they cannot be!
    Better on a bird's back, than flying on a jet pack, with my hair whipped back, no helmet hair to stare at!

  3. I honestly am very excited for this Rising event. Rising is one of the events where I don't expect much in terms of rewards. Usually I am more interested in the event itself as it has the cool fireworks and music and stages in the major cities but most of all the quests that end in the messages from Yoshida himself. This time, though, that mount gave another huge reason as, as much as I love the regular golden Phoenix mount we have, those colors look incredible.

    If it truly is us turning into the Phoenix rather than riding on its back, this one mount would have one extra layer that makes her special. Regardless, having a Phoenix mount that echoes the Phoenix from the Coils of Bahamut during the 10th Anniversary period of the game and with the conclusion of the whole Ascian Saga is extremely fitting.

  4. If there’s an animation with you turning into the phoenix, then this mount is literally better than majority of the 7-mount hunts out there. Sounds too good to be true

  5. Oh I’m really looking forward to this one! It’ll be my third year with FF14 and it’ll be cool. I’m halfway through Shadowbringers at the moment and am having such an adventure.

    Also I love bird and dragon type mounts. The phoenix might replace the manacutter or griffin mounts I use for flight, though nothing will replace my loyal chocobo for ground travel.

  6. Got really excited when I spotted the mount on the webpage. 🙂 The flavour text is interesting too, and makes me wonder to what extent it is a bit of a cross-over with FFXVI…

  8. It looks very beautiful with the red and light-blueish coloring. I think that would be amazing if we do turn into the phoenix also maybe something to relate to FF16 by turning into the Phoenix too. Also agree the Coils is a great series that everyone should experience!

  9. Binging all these videos about events, it is increasingly painful the years' worth of memories not made amid hiatus since about halfway through Stormblood (yes all of ShadowBringer, which seems the most appreciated expansion thus far), though as a silver lining am glad for the cash shop to at least attain some items feared beyond reach ^^;;
