  1. I wish they would convert some of the quest item space to normal used space as there is no reason to have so many quest item bags especially when most quest items aren't even put in them.

  2. They should move the soul crystal slot under the feet. Just to balance the UI Design aspect. I'm really psyched about the expanded weapons and rings! Even if it's only potential, this shows that SE understands the weight of those two armory slots.

  3. Wanted QoL since release: Retainer crafting.

    Still nowhere to be found nearly a decade later. And we're still paying $2/mo for each retainer when bank slots in other games are an in-game expense. (my sub is $30/mo at this point if I want access to all of them; keeps me from resubbing half the time)

    May as well just not bother being a crafter anymore. Why continue to give them money when they can't implement features other MMORPGs added years ago?

  4. I don't mind belts going away as long as it doesn't make me squishier than I already am relative to every other class. They were always the odd gear out. You can't see them.

    I have had a problem with getting close to running out of space for rings, weapons and off-hand gear at various times. It gets bad when each job has had different gear and most people have at least 12 jobs. (main, 8 doh, 3 dol) For a while there, each doh/dol had it's own 'armor' and rings — my armory was constantly a mess. Instead now all that crap is in my glamour dresser. I think it's time to get rid of the separate doh/dol gear. Cool though a bunch of the doh/dol sets may look, they are only usable by ONE side job. Extremely irritating and not worth the limited glamour inventory space.

  5. I'm a healthcare worker, and Yoshi P's message is well received. Too often people forget that we're still in a pandemic, and are ignorant to the hardships healthcare workers have to face everyday (both physically and mentally). We're still fighting and struggling. Thank You!

  6. The UI is absolute the same, its just no belts. WOW. impressive. These changes are STUPID ,they are unneeded ..who even ASKED for this? To me theres only one explanation lazy solutions to dumb down the game took precedence over innovation and improving the obvious problems of stagnating inventory space in combination with a huge amount of legacy stuff that is in the game and new stuff that will come with Endwalker.
    I have yet to hear a PROPER reason that makes any sense. And how this affects builds, especially in CRAFTING, Meld Slots that are now gone, added to rings also? Does this warrant 50 ring slots? What is this stingyness with giving storage space to paying customers. Horrible paywalled retainer system…everyoen got used to that just like to the overbearing mogstore bullshit. What is the design philosophy here ? God knows. Complete rework of gear craft requirements? What is going on who wanted this? Any dialogue with the players? At ALL? Are there critical voices out there that are heard and not just a chorus of sicophants?

  7. I hope they move the Job soul crystal slot to the left side, preferably right under the weapon slot at the top, but I'd be okay with it at the bottom under the feet slot.
    As is, the window looks unbalanced and a little "off".
    Also agree with some of the other comments I've seen, that the Key Items part of the bag should just be converted to normal bag space, and any permanent key items like the aetheric compass could just be made a permanent player unlock, and the Tails journals their own Log window instead.

  8. I would like to see the weapon slot move down and be on the top left side and the job icon (in full color) take the weapon's old place. That would look neat, in my opinion, and that way the UI wouldn't look lopsided. ☺️

  9. I'm surprised to see that the Artifact Gear has a level requirement of 89 – not 90. So are we going to get the AF gear even earlier this time than in ShB? I remember Yoshi-P in one recent interview saying that he wanted players to be in the proper "job gear" for the fight against Hades. I guess they liked the idea so much that we're getting the gear now even before(?) the last dungeon?

  10. I'm happy about the changes but I do hope they increase the slots for the glamour chest, armoire and inventory slots…I mean we do collect this stuff and seemingly we don't want to throw them away as well. Also, I hope additional equipments can be stored to the armoire as well

  11. I think they should add glamour plate storage. Allows you to collect entire dungeon sets, but you have to swap them out with one of the 20 active plates to actually use them. Or maybe allow compressing sets into a single glamour item, basically a reversable armor coffer, although that would likely add a load more items to the database for all the sets.
