  1. you should do a "basic controller settings" guide, then individual videos for jobs so you arent repeating all that same settings config info for every single job. or even just copy paste the same content into future videos. not that i mind personally because timestamps, but it might help for your own sanity lol.

  3. As a Red Mage main on ps4, I absolutely love how easy on the buttons the job is. It automatically upgrades and changes certain abilities when they proc so I don't have to have them on my crossbar which is a huge relief and allows me to better focus on my rotation and memorize it. I actually didn't know about the "shared" options for crossbars as it was very annoying to redo them for all jobs when it came to emotes, mounts, and other stuff, but it's something I'm excited to play around with.

It's also kind of interesting seeing how differently people layout the skills for the rotation. For Red mage and samurai, I kinda treat the rotation like tree branches which go either one way or another, and so they are more "left and right" focused when they spread out. My muscle memory is very "right" focused so skills that I use more often I keep on my right bumpers (or R2) while my procs, heals, and melee rotation which i don't use as often are on my L2. I keep my white and black magicks aligned by left and right in accordance to the meter (white on left, black on right) while red skills like jolt, impact, fleche, etc are in the center. So on my R2 for example, jolt is on triangle, which is then followed by either veraero(square) or verthunder(circle), while impact is on cross in case of mobs.

Thank you for the guides. definitely will check out other jobs which are really "buttony" and i'm having trouble with layouts and prioritizing.
