  1. Thanks for sharing, If people cant take (and discuss) criticism like adults, good luck with any Ultimate. Also, why do I get a feeling that the RDM's blacklist is probably nearly full – lovely attitude.

  2. It’s also an issue of modern raiding in ffxiv in general, ultimates getting more and more demanding especially during endwalker, and not nearly enough players can keep up with the difficulty increase. FRU was a nice change in comparison to Top or DSR. Hopefully it’s not going down hill next ultimate…

But yeah for anyone interested in Ultimates especially the endwalker once, I wouldn’t recommend it unless you are 100% sure that you are an amazing player which is consistent, fast learning and possess enough endurance to survive all the drama around it, it’s miserable xD

  3. Did everyone discuss expectations at the beginning? Was there a time frame put in place? These are valid questions. If the expectations are in place and the two new players are holding everyone back, then they need to leave the group, and you need to recrute other members. If expectations and time frames weren't discussed, that's your problem.

When you start a static, you must have everyone on the same page, and if plans change, you need to discuss them with the static and make sure everyone is okay with it. If 1 person doesn't agree and everyone else does, that 1 person needs to leave or suck it up. If everyone disagrees with your plan, you need to suck it up and do what's best for the static.

Plain and simple, this seems like an issue that could have been resolved with a static discussion to set expectations.

  4. What on eeaaarrrtthhhh?

Everything GNB said was fairly benign. If the worst that they could have pointed out about your performance were slight movement issues (whether it’s true or not), that’s a damn near compliment. Seemed like they genuinely wanted to know where they could improve too so….?

And while the RDM’s frustrations about letting in people who are fresh on prog are legitimate, this probably could have been aired out during casting and not after a rough night of raiding?

Honestly this whole exchange baffles me and only mildly makes more sense if you assume emotions and frustrations are high after a rough raid night.

Heart goes out to the DNC.

  5. So, PLD, WHM, RDM, DRG, DNC are regulars in this static. GNB isn’t (90% sure), not sure about “Shield Heal”(?) or SAM but 1 of them are fresh to Ult Prog.

Seems like RDM has the right of it for their outburst. If this GNB is one of the new’s to ult prog and is calling out a static that had worked fine previously, lol BIG mistake, and RDM said they were on their blacklist. Judging by their lack of social awareness I can see why.

Obviously the strain of having 2 new members has taken its toll on the dancer, poor thing.

SAM wanted to say something after RDM so might be they are part of the original static? So the new’s are the GNB and Shield Mage?

I saw people hating on RDM in the comments but they don’t bother to comprehend the drama, just hear a woman popping off about the GNB going after their BF (DRG presumably)(Isn’t it taboo to prog with family?) and think “lol, dumb wh*re!” Not cool…

  6. It seems like this group can’t handle taking criticism. As far as I could tell, the GNB was only bringing up things they observed that could be worked on. It didn’t look like they said anything out of turn. If it was dumb observations, the party could have easily discussed through them and explained the reasonings on why. Instead everyone took it personally. More so the RDM. “Don’t you dare come after my boyfriend” is such a cringe response to feedback. I am sure the DRG can fight his own battles, her butting in and making it her business is so unhinged. It would be nice to see a longer version of what happened so that there is context, but as far as I could tell, it seems like it’s better to drop the people that can’t/won’t listen to criticism

  7. why do they sound like children lmao

tbh more context is needed? rdm shouldnt have raged ofc so its a terrible look for them but we dont know what happened so ye. it seems like everyone in the static is disagreeing/raging at this GNB but at the same time what they are saying seems pretty mild, maybe they are actually a bad player

  8. I've only played FFXIV with IRL friends and solo. To me, scheduling a specific time to play a video game every day just sounds wild. Esp. with a family/job/etc.

From that perspective I can't believe this is something you considered worth uploading, and others consider worth watching. Nothing even happened; some girl was just mad her boyfriend was critiqued. 'Not holding back'? That was the weakest bout of anger I've ever seen. Over nothing. But you uploaded it. Uploading your petty arguments about nothing with your friends so you can gratify yourself just makes you look bad. Worse than everyone else involved I'd say. It's not 'for entertainment purposes' because nothing about it was entertaining or beyond the realm of mundane normal life.

  9. How fucking pathetic. Yall taking this game way to fucking serious crying and shit over fucking pixels on a screen. You're mentally ill seek some fucking help. Same with fucking reddit all you fuckingnpeople do is cry and complain on social media. If the game is causing you emotional breakdowns like this. It's not for you, simple as that. You need to grow the fuck up if some anonymous people on a video game cause you this much pain.
