The amount of salty people whining about store items is amazing… Perhaps even more than usual for some reason.
The Online Store, wether you want it or not, is perhaps the saving grace of the game: it brings an insane amount of money in fantasias alone, not to mention the level skips for new raiders or the cosmetics.
We are getting a ton of badass gear for free in game, a lot of varied armors and cute casual wear pretty much every patch or so. Those are suddenly not good anymore when the few paid sets come out? Come on… Imagine if they even had stat boosts, people would go wild
