Enjoyed the first Variant Dungeon, did it beyond the 12 for fun.
Not such a fan of the new one. Was happy to give Hancock a chance, but don't like the game portraying our characters as Goku-level idiots. We do all the work and you take all the loot, yeah Hancock, that really sounds fair and reasonable.
Even beyond that, the lore is kinda pointless. It's like when an anime puts out a movie where they go to some new location, but you know all that happens is confined to that movie, and won't be carried over into the series.
If the next expansion were taking place in that Japan-esque area, sure. But it's not, so… why learn/care about it.
That said, they've definitely upped the loot options from the Variant mode at least. But being able to buy some kind of toggleable or endlessly reusable version of the firework would be neat.
The way color works on gear I don't think it should take too long. Even if they chose what tile was the second dyeable one on each piece, one at a time, they could do hundreds a day probably. Basing this on my past Crimes experience.
Hot take: harchafaunt was more boring and forgettable then zenos to me so i dont understand the obsession with him
