I still can't process the sheer size we're working with here. That beach looks spacious. There's a even a hill leading up to what could be a fishing shack above.
Based on the "size of a Roegadyn image," you can extrapolate the size of the island now that we have an ingame picture of one section of the beach.
This island is TITANIC… And everyone gets one!🤯

I thought IS was 6.25? But maybe they finished early… or rushed it due to player pressure. I hope we can be in party with players on other islands and que while on our islands. Otherwise this could see a big issue for roulettes and duty finder and FC groups etc. Social stuff. Yeah people can come to your island but like… they might not want to if they are on their own island.
6.2 MSQ first, since island Sanctuary is instanced there is no rush.
All I really expect from Island Sanctuary is it being a cross between Survival/Harvest Moon, but a light version.
With that I'd be satisfied.

I feel like building a raft now and racing my friend to share a fruit with a girl I like
I've seen a lot of people claiming it's going to be Instanced Housing and basically a lot of functions that the dev team never claimed (to the point of thinking it'll be a 1:1 Animal Crossing), so it's refreshing a content creator is managing expectations so people don't start blaming the devs for stuff they never said in the first place!
My god, I'm so glad I finished my master thesis, it means I can go so hard into 6.2 and just really breathe in all this content wholeheartedly haha
Square gives players private islands.
Blizzards counter is they add a chair to players emotes so that they can sit anywhere in the game world and it took 8 months to develop.
For me my expactions so far for Island Sanctuary is being able to place buildings, farm, and let my minions run around areas I've unlocked. I've played Warlords of Dranor so I've pretty much thought maybe that is the level that they would start. Without all the player power being in them of course.

My base line for expectations with island sanctuaries is as simple as "Not The Housing System" – anything above that is gravy.
