  1. I think the thing with Zodiark is best explained by the Watcher, though his explanation refers to what would happen to the star if destroyed. The Source is referred to as such with reason. Zodiark is closely tied as a manifestation of the star, and so whatever happens to him, theoretically the other reflections would follow suit. Look also at what happened when Hydaelyn shattered him. She also shattered the world into 14 pieces. As goes one, so goes the other.

    As for the Twelve, they claim to be true divinities, but for now we will wait and see to find their true nature. And based on the wheel depicting their symbols, it followed the order in a clockwise position to show how we fought them in Aglaia. Assuming they follow this, we can predict the next 4 of the pantheon to fight.

  3. Mericam your videos just seem to get more and more amazing with every video I watch. I too noticed the quest name and thought about Azdaja, Golbez and the shadow dragon, but I failed to make the connection to Unukalhai!

    I think the 12 are concepts that pre-date the ancients and may be beings of Dynamis rather than beings of pure aether. I noticed the area called "The Twelve Wonders" and I can guess that a certain birdy was made in an attempt to mimic some properties of the 12 (Pure speculation there however).

    Also on the topic of Zodiark, when it died wouldn't the Aether present be left behind in the reflection it died in AND on the reflections moon no less? FFVIII had a moon too and a "Lunar Cry", when I first saw the Endwalker logo, I drew parallels to two. I was of course wrong, but now I do have to wonder if it's still a possibility in a different reflection…

    Anyway I could talk for hours about the speculations I have ^-^
    As usual Meri, your penchant for lore and knowledge of the FF world is amazing! You even rival Urianger in your knowledge hehe =D
