  1. Win rates are almost irrelevant, because a strong job will be popular and since there can't be 2 or more of the same job in one team. One of this job will always be on the losing team and one on the winning team. So it's obviously 50/50 because they were used in both teams almost everytime. So the ones with a low pick rate are far more likely to not be 50/50. So saying Pld and Scholar seem more popular doesn't sound logical at all. I'd argue the opposite.
Pick rate at high ranks would be more informative.
    Video makes no sense.

  2. Alsoba slight correction. Win rates have nothingnto do with how often a job is played as they compare winrates per job so per 100 matches RDM wins 50.9 pwr 200 it wina 101.8 and so o ln

  3. Are there other numbers that you don't show in this video? You're saying that "popuarity of X job is bigger in this region because the number is higher" but that's not how percentages of win rates work.

  4. Win rates mean very little in terms of how good a job is because of the match making system. Also, keep in mind if a job is perceived to be stronger then they will be played more, especially by people that don't know how to play in PVP . And they mean nothing in terms of popularity because they don't include those numbers at all, which is very telling. A more convincing argument would have a break down of jobs played by rank.

  5. No disrespect, but Yoshi P looks like he needs a week long vacation at a quiet beach-side resort.
Can't imagine the kind of pressure he must be under, juggling this with FF16, and goodness knows what else.
I hope he gets a break soon.

  6. Might look at paladin again in pvp and see why that is that they're on top for tanks. Doesn't feel like they're on top when warrior is still so strong. I've seen A LOT more drk in pvp though and they're actually coming together pretty well

  7. Don't give me the stats for the individual classes. Give me the Stats for Win/Loss rates per DC based on the Tiers, with an Average of Number of Matches Played per Tier (Average number of matches players participated in from Start to their final Tier Ranking). Then, also supply the Win/Loss rates per DC for Casual. Also, give an Average Time per Player for Time on Crystal. If your team spends 1/3rd as much time on the Crystal as the other Team, you are most likely going to lose.

  8. They did take into account the mirror matchups and eliminated them from these statistics (still not a sufficient means of telling a class's strength). Also the numbers do not tell ANYTHING about popularity. You can get idiots flocking to the easiest or flashiest class or high skilled players/fanatics on a weak or high ceiling class. Blindly balancing around raw winrate results in stupidity like Me 262 vs F-86 Sabre in War Thunder.

  9. Meoni, you are confusing "popularity" with "win rate". On several occasions you refer to the latter as if it were the former. On Japanese servers, white mage has a lower win rate than on American or European servers, this does not necessarily reflect the popularity of the job.

  10. Did they show the popularity rates but it's not shown here or something? The pictures say "win-rates" but there are parts where it sounds like your talking about a different chart. Idk, I may not understand correctly either.

  11. numbers don't mean anything, you're misrepresenting it.
If you have 30,000 whm playing, but 10,000 scholars then scholar win rate would be much different to Whm due to mirror games not counting to stats.

Doesn't take into account people playing each role

Games that have same classes also don't get counted since 1 would win, 1 would lose therefore 0 and uncounted
