JBP is definitely more of a FromSoft philosophy when translated into game design BUT I'm sure he & Ishikawa could talk for hours about Joseph Campbell (ShB), Nietzsche (Endwalker), & Jung (DRK quest line)

The best mechanic of this fight is the active time maneuver of having to call Elliot Paige's name, because the boss then gets confused and yells out the wrong name afterwards.

The mechanic where the boss' grandma appears and deals damage by throwing her pubic hair is pretty tough and an interesting design choice.
