  1. the fight i reference for more 3D kind of play is Titan in E4 where the platform rises for half the arena and you have to know to be up or down for certain things. I want more up and down fun times.

  2. ok nice news indeed….but i would like to know if they have any plans to expand/rework the glamour and dye system and the storage problems in general…also housing second floor item placing issues would be great to be fixed at some point….

  3. You can also “gamble” against other players for unique currency to the brawler’s guild to buy access to specific fights, buffs or rewards and cosmetics.

    Basically you say whether or not the player wins or the monster wins. If you’re right you get x currency. X being 100*number of times you were right in a row up to 10

  4. As for chess board. There’s the chess boss in TBC Karazhan in WoW which after beating it the player could use it to challenge each other iirc where player take control of pieces which have their own unique abilities

I would love a fashion report but more along the lines of Trial of Style in WoW where players are given a prompt and design glam to match it then are put up on stage in heats to have people vote which are better between player x and player y for a number of prompts and the 3rd 2nd and 1st place players are rewarded at the end.

    Maybe this can be an event and it can line up with Fashion week irl?

  6. The use of Trusts take on CM and Prae is a good bet imo.
    I could also maybe see them reducing the requirements (and hps of enemies) to make them into two 4 man dungeons and pushing them into 50/60/70/80 roulette (or heck have it as an excuse to make msq roulette into 50/60 roulette and change 50/60/70/80 into 70/80), an 8 man Trial (Ultima Normal Mode), and a solo instance against Lahabrea (maybe with NPC allies)
    Obviously CM + Prae may have to be shortened, not as useful traversing cutscenes reduced/removed, would have to probably skip a boss in CM, be it start with you after 1st boss in CM where you crawl in or something else in CM; they would probably have to chnage them both a bit to fit the Trash -> Boss -> Trash -> Boss -> Trash -> Final Boss format.
    CM: (Enter through Garbage Disposal)> Trash – > Vanguard S11 -> Trash (with Cannons) -> Magitek Collosus -> Trash -> Livia
    Prae: Trash -> MKII Colossus -> Trash -> Magitek Armour -> Nero -> Gaius -> Pretty much the same but ends Trash Trash Boss Boss instead of having Trash between bosses, they could do some dungeon edits to make us take a different path after the Colossus
    For both I think they could reduce the amount of cutscenes, maybe enacting events as your traveling which most dungeons do now anyway just to reduce having to load and unload cutscenes all the time
    Ultima being an easy trial with a mid cutscene in game (like the transitions in the Weapon Series) instead of separate load and unloads (probably done in the past due to ye olde PS3 Limitations) would make it feel less tedious too, plus something they could add to Trial Roulette too removing the need of MSQ roulette.

  7. The response to the Gpose question is interesting. Yoshi P was also the one who said he wanted to adjust the teleportation charges to keep it realistic. Sounds like he really wants to keep it believable as a real world. Wonder if you could just do a feature like a photo booth and be able to pick your background?

  8. Ack, I am in Stormblood right now and was not expecting the final Endwalker boss to be spoiled. I guess the talk of just being adventurer after Endwalker makes more sense now.

  9. As someone who hunts for s ranks, that's disheartening, needing possibly inaccurate third party websites is a hassle to put it mildly.
    But honestly, I think the whole system needs an overhaul in the first place, 2000 s ranks (and 1000 EW/ShB specific S ranks) for mounts is fucking absurd since it's depends almost entirely upon people, get this, not being assholes about it. And that's….well. Pretty difficult. And just leads to stress and griefing and there's no systems in place to punish the behavior because they're "just overworld mobs, they'll respawn!"
    Ask anyone on Crystal who's trying for that fucking tiger and they'll know the names of at least 3 chronic trolls who will insta-pull even as it's being relayed, sometimes before it's even relayed! To the point where those who spawn low level S ranks like ARR and HW might not even be able to get a hit in.

    The whole thing is basically designed to be very very friendly to griefers and I'm so, so tired.

  10. So, regarding the screenshots and weather – the point was that they want the world to feel like a world. You can't just wiggle your fingers and have the sun come up – you need to wait until morning. The more control you give people over world aspects, the less meaningful the world ultimately becomes.

    Regarding hunt timers, not having them internal creates player engagement. People set up websites, linkshells, and whole communities for doing them. If you just put an internal timer on them, that all dies. Both are 100% sensible choices.

  11. I think the Abode of Ea would be a great place for a Deep Dungeon. They have such a drastically different relationship to the physical world that an entire 200-floor megadungeon could totally fit inside one of those purple crystal things they live in.

  12. If they did implement changing the weather for pics would that then change the weather for you alone or all the other players in that map also? If it would be the later it would be chaos. Def agree with Yoshi P here.

  13. I think my biggest worry is if they try to do what poeple ask about the DPS, that it'll be like WoW, where poeple won't let anyone in that wants to do the content. Limiting even those that have to resort to PuGs with many duties, trials and raids.

I've been praying and thinking the new field op would be to redeem the 13th void world shard using the Crystal Tower and the Ragnarok ship so I could maybe see it connecting to a campaign there. I for sure feel like its more a question of when and how since they've been teasing it for years and especially in Shadowbringers with the questline that opens up after you do all the role quests. Yoshi P also told us the open world content would be less raid heavy like with Bozja and more exploratory so it could be really cool if we like open field battles, missions, and some raids to gain ground and then have the Deep Dungeon connect lore wise so we delve really deep to plant light light aspected aether bombs to chain purge to correct the imbalanced aether.

    I at least could see that being at least somewhat possible yet they could always hold off to make that an xpac or something but with the title "Endwalker" I feel like this could be a great time to end close off that remaining plot point especially for Unukalhai and Cylva who are currently living the best they can but praying for results from the porxie probe. I'm sure whatever the developers think of it will be great either way though 100%

  15. I was hoping someone would bring up the extra hotbars question, because YES I NEED MORE HOTBARS. Job swapping, macros, and so much more take up my hotbars currently, and having an extra hotbar would allow me to use it for Astrologian draw and play macros next to the party frames.

  16. I think the MSQ roulette needs to be changed, like adding one or two MSQ dungeons/quests to the roulette, make it a bit more interesting. I, along with many others I'm sure, are tired of doing the same ones all the time.

  17. Legit annoyed about the highlander eyebrow cuz he didn´t say it was a CC limitation like the midlander stubble, they straight up don't want to give them actual brows…even when it's the one thing that people unanimously keep requesting, if not just modding /vexed
