  1. I thought about this. It was dumb. Then I remind myself of Black Desert mobile.

I don’t expect FF14 mobile to look like the PC/console version. It’s way too demanding on the smartphone.

  2. I don't know much about final fantasy, but if you're making a mobile game of a popular franchise at least do something unique with it, especially if it's such a big franchise like final fantasy, as a big Persona fan I can say that this is not even close to the level of P5X

  3. People need to relax because you can already play this on your phone through the PS Remote Play app and there's more graphics intense games on mobile so this isn't a big deal at all.

  4. if they redcon or dont ad a Dawntrail expansion to this one and just let the mobile version end with Endwalker, i might be able to forget what they have done to us, but the mobile version has to be very good…

  5. dragoon opener on a touchscreen where half your screen is taken up by the skills and buff icons gonna go crazyyyyy 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

no, obviously there's no shot they rebuilt the PC game on mobile without requiring a controller or just genuinely having a messy and cluttered screenspace.
This will probably feel closer to a redesign like League's Wild Rift (not the greatest example but) where it simplifies movement and controls along the edges of the screen.
There's probably also a good reason why this, allegedly, is releasing in China first and the global market afterwards, to test the waters so to speak.
But hey, maybe they've used this as an opportunity to make ARR less of a slog at the start? What if this turns out to be the best experience new people will ever get of the base game story?
