I hope you all find this newer version more impressive and entertaining with its updated audio and visuals. I for one will get back to work so you all have even more lore to enjoy this week! 1. My character has, from the very start, and always will be Xaela. I did drink one fanta to change my look a little to match my growth into a hardened warrior (more tan, less cutesy, etc) but i will never need another. No other race has ever felt right.

I grew certain I had made the right choice when I finally got to the Azim Steppe. It sounds weird, but I just felt at home there. Like "These are MY people, and I love them."

  2. I've played Au Ra since the beginning. I bought the game years ago right as Heavensward released it's first patch. I once mained as a summoner, but now am a proud Reaper. I've always felt the tribal nature and fierce appearance fit me. My favorite race.

  3. I have no doubt Xeala and Rogadin would have good chances of getting along, after the obligatory test of strength, as both hold strength, physically or otherwise, in high regard

  4. The Au Ra are definitely an interesting breed. one of my three main is a male Au Ra. in my head cannon he was the baby of two adventurers who died in Eorzea but a kindhearted Elderly Hyuran Lady took him in and raised him which left a deep mark on him. So his demeanor was more that of a Hyuran and he became a Kindhearted Paladin. It was really interesting to play a character who was completely out of touch with his own people when he traveled to Doma.

  5. I dont like the female au ras, they dont look cool like the males but completely love the horns and the lore just not the crooked female body. I wish I could play it and enjoy it but it bothers me too much to rather pick another race. They are more like miqos then hyurs imo. I personally prefer the Raens race for sure. Also that art was cute!

  6. Yay, it's my drago girl's lore. My little pink-haired Raen healer has (nearly) run the whole story as scholar/summoner. Until she found sage then it was all over for the dual job. Not to say that tiny girl can't also mess one up as anything else, since black mage is my favorite non-heal class.

  7. I feel like im the only one of this opinion but i genuinely wish you could make the male au ra hyur sized

They look so cool but im 5'11 so playing such a tall character feels like a lie LOL

Played a hyur up til the male vierra came out cause i was able to make the bun 5'11

  8. Great work as always. Looking forward to Viera, cuz I've always loved the bunnies of Final Fantasy, and I also love how XIV got to break new ground in the franchise by introducing us to the males of the race.

  9. Love Au Ras, they are my second favorite race in the game next to Elezen. My second character I made is a Xaela female and I absolutely love her! Absolutely loved this video, just surprised there was no mention of the Hotgo tribe that is mentioned in the Alexander raids!

  10. A wonderful video, biased as a Xaela main I may be. My only gripe is the pronunciation of "Khagan", which is consistently pronounced multiple times throughout the game as "haan" with a kind of throat-y h-sound. Otherwise an excellent watch!

  11. I'd figured that I did well on the lore of my main characters, both Xaela, before I got to Stormblood. Then the Azim Steppe made everything come together all the more. And this? This just further proves it. I got it right. Thank you.

  12. My favorite race, the moment I learnt about Yuugiri going to Heavensward I decided this is who I am going to be throughout the journey. Follower of Azeyma and adopted the name Surya(Sanskrit for Sun) and TennoKishi/天の騎士 (Knight of the Heavens) and admirer of Yuugiri I became a Ninja. I'm surprised when arrived at Radz Ad Han and saw a lot of fellow Raen there and interestingly they used Sanskrit in naming convention as I am i.e Campaka/Kanchana/Saurya and it feels like it is my home and my favorite hanging spot now.

8 years and going, I love my dear adventurous Raen who always have a somewhat angry face that might scares off people but she gives the most sweetest and heartwarming smile.
