  1. A very typical fountain that we have in todays world
    "hOw doES THAT WoRK?"
5 seconds later, a floating, rotating crystal using nothing but magic or gravity manipulation
    "yeah that fountain aint realistic"

  2. I started practicing dark knight after telling myself, "I need to get better at tanking! And want another tank other than Gunbreaker." I was iffy about paladin cause it never really 'clicked' with me, but after seeing the new stuff from the media tour, it's really caught my eye and I wanna give it a real good try 😀

  3. This trailer is what reminded me that FFXIV still exists and later PSO2 giving me enough motivation to to play FFXIV of how bad of an impression SEGA left me xD

I STILL find the music in the trailer very familiar and very PS2-ish/early 2000s sounding coz it slammed the doors of nostalgia open for me even thought I haven't played any FF game other than Dirge of Cerberus, FFXV and FF7R. Wouldn't be surprised if it was influenced by old PS2 games as well seeing how the legends working in FFXIV are real gamers with how many ps2 games I felt that were in this MMO.

I mean i literally looked everywhere for where i heard this music before when i first watched this trailer and couldn't find anything, kept saying "I KNOW I HEARD THIS BEFORE BUT WHERE???" xD

  4. So Final Fantasy History, since Shadowbringers was influenced by the story of FF 3 with the Crystal Tower and it's main Class/Job portrayal was that of the Dark Knight, Endwalker is following FF 4 now with first the Job being Paladin. With Cecil the main character in FF 4 going from a Dark Knight to a Paladin, and eventually you do travel to the moon in that game as well.

  5. It's funny you mention the D&D comparison since a lot of Final Fantasy was directly inspired from it. Bahamut being a God or king of dragons is directly lifted from D&D, where as its original writing it was more a leviathan that held up the world like atlus in Greek mythology.

  6. I have a Theory that the Endwalker Trailer exponentially gets better the longer you have played FFXIV

Because I have friends who recently started a few months ago that loves the MSQ but felt like the trailer was weaker than ShB while the people from my FC who’s been playing for years fucking love the EW trailer
