  1. Kinda sad that we didn't get a veil for dancer (The feather is nice tho, I still like it). Even nin got a really nice one in the moonward set(I know the set is from FF4 but still dancer really need a veil)
Hoping there will be veil in other content in Dawntrail…

  2. I think the blue samurai sword works as a statement piece together with the set. A pop of complimenting color. And I rly hope the blm hat works on hroth but am ready for dissapointment 🙁

  3. 5:57 — Love WHM. Its more in tune with the Gridanian padjali style, more like a sturdy druid's outfit, and less the pristine Whites of Amdapor…

19:11 — Might also just be the lighting so wait and see.

21:30 — Not a fan of the weapon. I like it when the bow has harp- and other musical elements on it, but this one… try the idle pose of Bard with weapon in hand and they will stab themselves through the chest -.- Its bad design is what it is. The idea may be neat and I like the color scheme… but its bad design. The overall armor looks cool though.

24:20 — Its the same with the RDM focus thingy… Yoshi-P may have said "they are lunchboxes filled with love", but when I'm not happy with my lunchbox, I put stickers on it!

28:59 — Isnt that Micote sporting a new hairstyle? Also, its clearly not a robe this time. The hanging pieces seem more like part of a cloak or scarf…

    31:11 — Also, Titan-Egi looks different… or upgraded…

The sad part about job armor is, we dont have enough glam plates to use them 🙁 With soon 21 jobs and only 20 plates, we have to once again use role armor sets. And that not even taking into acount the crafters and their glams… It doesnt matter which set I like most: I wont be able to use any of them longterm 🙁

  4. As a DRG/GNB main I absolutely adore their sets, Dragoon in particular is literal perfection IMO
As a soon-to-be VPR main, I like it but I think I'll be rocking mostly Cryptlurker

I must also add that while I'm not wow'd by it, AST set looks sooo comfy and I want this IRL

  5. As a SCH main, I'm not really the biggest fan of the outfit. I much preferred the direction they went with the Endwalker AF for SCH, which had a felt looking texture when dyed. Plus it felt more like a commanders outfit.

  6. I know you didn't seem to like the WAR so much but I just love love love I have the opportunity as a WAR main to finally wear one of the headpieces as a Viera! I know there are head pieces out there (sparse) but I really am so dearly excited.

  7. Iirc the rose shape on the RDM weapon is very similar to one of the fan inspired designs. I remember because they chose the (imo terrible) design that looks like the Ixion horn instead of the rose and i thought it was one of the stupidest lioking designs the game has ever given us RDMs. Glad the rose design has made a return.

  8. I'm 100% in the minority with this but besides ninja and maybe blackmage, they all look incredibly samey and boring to me. To me it looks like they ran out of ideas for most of them

  9. SMN got me thinking if they gave them an "Astral/Umbral" stance where they can choose the summons. Like tank stance, but it would change Titan/Garuda/Ifrit for Shiva/Ramuh/Leviathan. They'd have identical moves that end up going to Phoenix/Bahamut but it would give the illusion of diversity. They could then add the rotation where after the first wave of Phoenix/Bahamut, they can toggle modes so it looks like they're going through all six main primals. It'd be entirely optional and just aesthetics unless they want to add some other gimmick.

  10. The most interesting thing with these artefact sets for me is how they'll dye, because a lot of them feel so similar to old sets it's like they're just remastered versions for the graphics update, which has some merit since the textures are really amazing, but astro, bard, reaper, and dancer are the only ones that feel new and exciting to me.

Seeing the weapons we get for pictomancer and viper will be cool. Since there's going to be an eden ultimate they'll definitely get E12S weapons (since they model them as bases for the ultimate versions) and those should be stunning, and deep dungeon weapons should also be guaranteed because of the way that's structured, so I'll probably be taking a trip to heaven on high.

  11. Bard is basically just a Steven Tyler cosplay and I'm all for it. Ridiculous and over-the-top, and it rules. Super excited for the Dragoon gear, looks like a mashup of the ARR and Heavensward sets; both of which I love.

  12. I wish they branched put more with the designs for artifact gear, especially for older jobs, they don't look bad but they look very samey to me. Like we're going to this tropical area, vs the zones in EW or ShB but the gear for a lot of these don't lean into that, that for a lot of these, if you showed someone new all the sets and asked them to guess which expansion it was from, they couldn't tell. I feel like the sets should scream the setting or callbacks core to the expansion they're from more.

  13. PLD looks nice and classic but PLEASE stop with the circlets
Sage would be my favorite if it was the GNB one….the actual GNB is very meh
But they all will be glammed over anyways. it's been decades since a company actually designed a full set that sits right with me. Every single set can be improved with at least 2-3 glamors.

  14. I have to disagree; That bard costume is real bad. It looks like someone took a look at Keith Richards and said, "yes, that". Black Mage and Machinist are the only ones that come close to being ok.
