This run is already obsolete, but it was the world record at the time of (unlisted) upload. It’s my first public run featuring my signature move, “Bouncy Lamppost” that I came up with after people kept commenting that my runs didn’t feature the lamppost jump at the end, so they weren’t impressive. Just a silly ability showcase to prove that lamppost ain’t a big deal, although it’s not hard to lose focus after a new PB and miss it because of nerves…
I kept this unlisted on Youtube because I didn’t want to interfere with Pint’s upcoming video that probably has a slower run than this, but sudden competition for the top spot got scary sooner than I anticipated, so I posted it to the leaderboard at speedrun.com to try to defend the record, but even this wasn’t good enough and I ended up losing it for 4 days…
Now that Pint’s video is delayed until January, I don’t feel like waiting any longer to post unlisted runs, sorry! To see my current PB, you’ll have to wait a few more weeks still. Enjoy this one for now.
