I love all these mounts and their flippy flappy feet. This one I will take my time in getting, though. No need to rush, I suppose 😅
When I found out its just another mandragora I was kinda relieved. Now I don’t have to bother with it.
I got access to Felicitious Favours at Rank 19, right afterI finished renovating 4 workshops, and got the quests to do (so I got extra exp) do you don't need rank 20 for that, just all buildings 🙂
Also, I would like to get more Ranks to Island Sanctuary in next expasion, with some ideas, like:
– new Dyes, only from here, to buy for cowries
– new mounts from Island: Black Karakul, Dodo of Paradise, Blue and Gold Backs, Pineapple Mandragora, Island Raft
– special achievement prize for catching all kinds of animals at least once: a Rainbow Chocobo mount would be cool xD
But in all honestly – a Bar, with a kitchen, Hawaiian Bar, in which you can make Island food that gives you gathering buff, to collect more stuff, a Bar in which you can sit with your friends and drink coctails and all that stuff
and maybe some more Oriental-type buildings, like Pagoda
Just add 2-3 things per patch, and I will be happy <3
Apparently you can also get it from sanctuary materiel containers? I opened one a bit ago and it just straight up gave me an adenium whistle. I probably got lucky & it's not a feasible drop rate but it's funny lol. (Sorry if you already mentioned this, I'm really tired rn)
Given the alternative is 200 of their loot-boxes, and that it can drop from the loot-boxes, I rather wonder what the drop rate is.
Suppose it's a safer bet as you might just get 200 pieces of near-worthless stuff from the boxes.
I got the adenium whistle in the container yesterday! Trying to sell it on the market board, but nobody on the materia data centre is buying yet. Probobly doesnt help that i have it listed at 250 million gil.

I am ok to wait whetever takes and got the mount. Just do your daily routine on Island senctuary and then off to olay other game. Is not like the mount you get with gem stones you need to be there and do fates. That's very tedious.
It would be cool if they introduced a 'make it rain' event for the favors where the bonus is increased for a short time, or they just sync it up with the normal make it rain events.
Honestly I feel like the favors are the perfect encapsulation of what I dislike about island sanctuary. Go out of your way to get a currency, that is tedious to set up and takes ages to aquire, all for a reskinned mount. I'm glad the tractor isn't there, but I'm annoyed that the tractor is 100,000 blue coins.
It's probably worth mentioning that your felicitous favors cap at 150. So you won't want to go more than a couple of weeks before picking up some of the vouchers with them.

It's worth mentioning that if you get the production bonus from keeping a chain in the category it counts as 2 for the favor. Just means you can get the 8 you need fo rthe favor while only crafting 4

It certainly has special colours. But not my preferred spectrum. Glad I am not missing out on anything here. More for others to pine over.
you can just type /bgm to toggle background music on and off instead of going into the menus. alternatively you can type /bgm (number between 1-100) to set the volume too a specific %. for example if you want it at 69% you type /bgm 69
