  1. This is a problem as a rebuild requires a demolition. I don’t see Classes such as Gladiator, Marauder, Conjurer, Thaumaturge, Lancer, Archer, Pugilist, Arcanist and Rouge surviving this “rebuild” at all. This is revisionism at its heart.

  2. I know they were looking at all the dungeons to see if they're still okay in current FFXIV, but I hope crystal tower gets a look too, it's MSQ required and the first two raids are pretty brain dead by this point.

Also I'd love if they decluttered materia right now all the red ones just mean damage increase bit I have to find some spreadsheets to figure out what ones I actually want, it would also help inventory space!

  3. Hopefully they don't do exactly what sega did with NGS but a option at the beginning for what era /story you want to play in and not forcing you into the new era before you can chose. We've seen it on ngs people quit because they couldn't play the old game without upgrading.

  4. I’m with Brian on the graphics. I play on PS4 and honestly I never complained about the graphics. Can it be better? Sure but I didn’t need it. Just give me more glamour plates and maybe a revamp on the glamour system completely

  5. When I came to Final Fantasy from WoW I was blown away by the graphics. The fact that my robes would move as I casted a spell. The coloration of singular body parts as the spell came to completion. It sold me instantly on wanting to play the game. That being said I don’t really care about the graphical update, it’s not an important change for me personally. I have watched a lot of other WoW content creators move over to FF and dislike of graphics is a common complaint but I really believe they mean Art style as Chris said. I also know a lot of players who use Gshade and swear it changed their life. I installed it and tried every preset available and I prefer the game without it. I don’t see the big deal as long as I can see what I’m doing it’s fine with me.

On a side note if they moved away from a tab target style system I think the game would become unplayable for many including myself.

  6. The graphics we're never a problem for me but I hoped for an update as a sign of long term support for the game. So I for one am completely ecstatic about the graphics update as a console player. After seeing PC players with Gshade I too want the game to look as pretty by default. Also this is good for people who complained that the "graphics suck" and will no longer be an excuse to not try the game.

  7. Even if it makes more sense based on the ludicrous amount of content to call it FF:Online (or anything other than XIV), CBU3 and Square would have to be truly desperate to do that. Being a numbered FF game is too big a deal (esp in JP).

  8. Just letting you guys know because I like your content and come back on every new one, so this comment is with the best intentions and just feedback maybe others feel the same way.

The 2 truths and a lie format seemed unnecessary, I actually just closed the vid and watched someone else go to the point directly. Some times for content like that you'd just want the "short" answer, sure with some comments here and there from yourselves because you do bring some interesting points of view to the updates.

Keep up the good work 🙂

  9. I always noticed how bad the grass looks ;-; I was so hyped to see their new grass-generating engine. Small details really elevates how a game looks in my opinion. I'm not a huge graphics person, but upgrading some pixelated assets would make such a difference as a whole package.

Wind Waker is a great example of a "cartoon-y" game that has aged so well.
