  1. I haven’t done any Ultimate fights as well, but I know they’re very demanding and I know that many parties spend months in some cases to clear them with in the bounds set by SE. So it is disappointing to hear about people cheating, and going beyond the bounds simply to get a world first.

  2. Its not just world first. Since the boom in population (coming from WoW where its a standardized practice) the amount of legends title have like quintupled if not more. Everyone's a legend now. And like i assume a majority of those are wallet legends who paid for add-ons. It cheapens the achievement and now when i see someone with the legend title I just assume they used add-ons. So those titles now have about as much credibility as the mentor crown and removes all the bragging rights aspect of it because they didnt do the fight or figured it out its just an AI telling them what to do.

Ill even give you a well known and very sus example. Remember how Rich Campbell got his triple legend in just a few weeks after barely a few months of playing the game? And how he's an unapologetic whale? And how he didnt stream it because "he needed to focud on it" Ofc he didnt people would have seen he used add-ons, focus had nothing to do with it. He got his titles cuz he paid a carry by Happy and Sfia and whatever add-on he bought lol Thats what im talking about. When I see people with the legends title my first thought isnt Wow that guy/girl is so cool! Now i just scoff and think "Is it a legit legend or a wallet legend?"

  3. Cherry picking is stupid.

TPS cheated in TEA. Neverland cheated in DSR. Both of these groups went into PF almost same day and started advertising RMT sales for clears. Zepla uses Automarkers for her DSR clear. Lots of people use pixel perfect, some still use Paisley Park.

Neverland are still 0/8 streaming. I love ultimates, they're fun to prog, but the hypocrisy and tribalism between regions and streamers being given a free pass is cringe. It's either all okay or none of it is.

  4. qMy thing with addons in they need to get it over with and standardize them. Do you want people to push the bleeding edge of content? Well you need to have an ingame way of saying how much dps is being done, your groups need to how much damage is being done and how to improve that. In the current game you cant do that. And saying streamers don't use it on stream is just a blatant lie as you can use OBS to capture only the game, and you can use Voice meter to push any sounds ACT would push to a second sound channel. So look the stream is clean and nothing is out there. Yeah no just standardize this shit, there's a reason why that guy used a zoom hack. The zoom levels in this game are TRASH, Let me see more of the fight but no I'm limited to a little area. ANd with as massive as some of the bosses are its somewhat unfair that they have such a restricted zoom.

  5. "video uploading website" is just "youtube"….. it was an unlisted video and it was recorded with a 3rd party video / audio recorder… they just dont specify the names on purpose… nothing special

  6. I knew it. The race was compromised by illegal hacks, leaks, and probably third-party content.

Congratulations — you probably have just ensured that XIV can now safely back-burner failed content such as this.

  7. Aren't third party tools legitimately illegal in Japan? in their own country they broke the law just to get a title and a weapon glam but honestly the worst part of it is, if they had waited a month or so, nobody would have known any cheating happened on their clear

  8. I like what he says, "It's very difficult for me to understand as a gamer what the meaning behind using numerous third-party tools to compete to clear first would be." Supposedly people do this high-difficulty content for the challenge– but then do whatever they can to make it easier and remove part of the challenge. Doesn't that show that people don't actually want challenging content?

  9. I was progging uwu for a while before work got insanely busy…it wasn't all that difficult to learn mechanics, simple trial and error…so imo anyone who cheats absolutely deserves to be punished

  10. Why can’t people actually try to play it without tools? We’re only in the first week. Honestly, I don’t blame Yoshi-P if he decides to take a break from releasing more Ultimates cuz of these issues.

  11. I'm really concerned that if this keeps happening, we won't get any more ultimates. If players can't respect the game as it was built to be played, they simply shouldn't have it anymore.
