For a hot second I thought that was a wipe mechanic until Lahabrea had that dialog box and things didn’t fade out like with wipes. With the new versions of Castrum and Prae they really did a lot to tighten up the narrative around Hydaelyn and why she starts to drift further into the background throughout the expansions. Now if only they would fix Midgarsormir’s dialog so he doesn’t sound as menacing when he yeets the light.
Damn, they made him seem like an actual threat instead of just getting the shit kicked out of him by 8 people and knocked down to 0.1% before he finishes monologueing.
Hell of a lot more intimidating when you're not spending like, 20 seconds AFK whacking him with a book going "shut up, shut up, shut up!"
