hey how would 2.14 gcd differ from this?
Hey o/
Why do we use Hissatsu : Gyôten (dash in). Doesn't that interfere with the rest of the fight?
As a SAM main, not a fan of the change to tsubame by tying it to meikyo, but the rotation still continues to look satisfying. It's definitely going to take a minute for me to adjust to how it feels now, though.
This might be controversial but here goes, im a tank main, i dont play much of the DPS jobs but I always thought, in any game, that repeating animations make the class boring. As such I actually never rly liked how Samurai repeats the Iaijutsu skill with Tsubame Gaeshi. It felt uninspired to me. I dont know if Dawntrail rotation is better in terms of functionality but because you now have 2 different animations thanks to how Meikyo works I find Samurai to be visually much more appealing and interesting. Definitely the DPS job i'll level first.
Very nice! Do you have one for Ninja?
1 slight change I might make to this opener is popping Meikyo at -14s since its now a 20s duration (up from 15s in EW). So if we pop it at 14 we might get an extra usage in certain fights. Depending on kill times obviously. But at least on a training dummy it seems we can get a 2 Meikyos in at the 4min/6min. But they did say they were reducing the cooldown for Tendo (probably Meikyo CD) in patch 7.01, so we might have more meikyo usages in between the opener/2min.
