  1. Hopefully the new OCE DC retains the JP raiding culture. Not sure I would want to move if OCE PF is going to be similar to NA PF…

also 'no salt' in the PF description is definitely an instant red flag that the party leader is going to be a salty and passive aggressive knob

  2. I just started trying savage for the first time a few days ago, and haven't experienced any of this, and I think that's likely due to (aside from this being satire) me only joining groups labeled as' practice.'

Well…sometimes we discuss positioning for 5 mins and then wipe on the first mechanic, but no one says anything and we just go agane.

  3. The part about people crafting is too real though omg xD There's also parties that fill and then for w/e reason stand around for like 10 mins doing nothing before going in and you're like ummm… what's the hold up?

  4. Don’t forget the mount farm parties where one person decides to play a less-than-max level job and expects to be able to roll against 7 other people who are actually pulling their weight, but the party leader is their friend so they say “whatever”

  5. Preach sister. I dont know why macros are so disliked in NA, on EU it takes less than a minute for everyone to know their positions and theres no ambiguity about who is where. Of course sometimes people still forget or make mistakes but you save sooo much time just by using a macro. Besides they look nice!

  6. Remember kids.

'Fresh prog' means 'aetherial shackles prog'
'Intemperance prog' means 'aetherial shackles prog.'
'Fourfold Shackles prog' means 'aetherial shackles prog'
    'Enrage' means 'aetherial shackles prog.'

Remember, no matter what, you will be progging the first mechanic of the raid tier. Even in other fights. That's just how NA works.

  7. So… Not to out myself as an NA-Andy but, like, why are the macros better than markers? I'm being serious, I literally don't understand why they're better, since you need to establish who's DPS1-4 AND H1/2 anyways. Or is there something I'm missing? I guess the macros clarify the strat you're using if someone forgets. But aren't the markers still good visual reinforcement when you are coordinating assignments?

  8. Look, if I'm going to wipe in p1s watching people fuck up the flex or give the whole party damage down, that tank better be doing some serious damage.

Spoiler: That tank is iL585 and still parsing Gray with zero deaths or damage downs.

  9. The only thing i dont get is the macros; like sure its optimal but optimal isnt the case 90% of the time. Adaptable is. Markers breed adaptability. AND avoids people forgetting the area theyre supposed to stand in.
