  1. I think you severely undersold this item's value. Imo aside from more retainers or job boosts for alts, or specific glams you want, this item is a must purchase if you're going to spend any money on the mog station. Not only do you get the fanta, but you get it on every alt. Not to mention aetherite tickets, the earrings and emotes and parasol.

Basically, if anyone ever wants to buy a fanta, even if they're 25% off, I would almost insist they buy this first, just so that every alt ever will have a whole extra fanta to work with, as well as the tickets and earring if folks don't have that.

This also reduces the friction for folks who want to spin up a whole different account and want to level jobs and hadn't gotten the earring earlier- Cross Region players, for example.

I understand that calling a paid item(s) in the game a "gift" is a little absurd, but I don't think this will make them very much money, if at all. I feel like a vast majority of these sales are going to be diverted from a single fantasia purchase anyway.

If they just sold Menphina's earring for $5 I don't think the community would have been upset, hell I think they could have sold it for $3 and they would have made more profit than this bundle they've released

  2. I think they would have more uptake on this if they made an exclusive necklace or bracelet item that was account-wide and acted just like the earring. That way, people with the earring would have something else to gravitate toward, and those without would get an equivalent item.

  3. Thanks for this video. Oddly, I wanted the Menpina Earrings for glamour (i have the DT preorder ones for leveling alts), and seeing this was a cool purchase since the Fantasia make it worth it to me (Aetheryte tickets are moot for me with weekly BLU/hunts, i think i have several 999 stacks at 500gil thresholds). Happy that Happy brought this to my attention!

  4. What are your thoughts, I am a sprout and new to the game. I am still in ARR, soI decided to queue up for Titan Ex Synced for the experience. I was paired with a group of mentors, guessing they did the mentor roulette, while I just clicked on Titan Ex Duty Finder. The mentors I was paired with told me that I shouldn't queue up, but instead use the party finder for synced ex trials, was a bit discouraging. Did I do something wrong, or am I to limit myself from using a feature that as a person that pays my FFXIV subscription should use?

  5. Yeah i've ben saying they should just sell the bundles. Literally no reason not to for people who want them.
    Shadowbringers (baby gremlin minion+aetheryte earring)
    Endwalker (wind-up Palom minion+Menphina earring)
    Dawntrail (wind-up Zidane minion+Azeyma's earrings)
    Literally no reason not to.

  6. I think something coming for free with a pre-order doesn't necessarily constitute it being 'free' in price.
People will pre-order games often FOR the pre-order accessories they'll receive, so it's not far-fetched to say that they're part of the price. For an item that boosts experience in particular that feels necessary to address, because it's a cutthroat advantage in leveling that most people wouldn't want to pass up.

  7. Was the Red Moon Parasol a limited-time item? If so, then they are really trying to get new people to join. I guess they decided to find the most popular emote and fashion accessory and throw it into this kit to tempt non-players to join.

I don't need it, my account already has the Azyema's earring and you get TWO free Fantasias – one in MSQ and one from a side-quest.

  8. I got the earring with the pre-order of DT. I had the one helmet that XP boosted until level10, then there is one to level 50… but they don't stat boost as well. The DT earring and this one stat boost. and the augmented gear you get for level boosts now lasts quite a good while. The gear I got for my picto, spent poetics on augmented credendum lasted until level 97 and I only changed out my weapon. not bad for what I paid for it.

  9. Pay for game, pay for expansion, pay for subscription, also cash shop with P2W elements (retainers for crafters).

It's just shameless at this point. But wait for the cult to show up.

  10. I usually don't make ALTs, use the Mogstation or use Fantasia, I have the Azyema Earrings, BUT if someday I decide to make one Alt or use Fantasia I will pick this pack first for SURE.

Leveling everything from scratch until lv 100 was "easy", but it takes TOO MUCH TIME in a month paid game… This being available for "every alt possible" and every free trial account to buy is… Nice.
