  1. As for bringing back crossover collaboration like FF13 –

It was mentioned many times, that if players with a LOUD voice in the Forum, request to bring back FF13, they can do it and allotted time for it, if it means to bring players back who missed it the last 2-3 times.

As someone who's done all of it since ARE, I don't mind new and players who missed out the last few times to experience it 🙂

But again, the player-base community has to speak out for it, to make it happen.

  2. It would be nice to have Yokkai event back. Infact these ood events should be on a repeat cycle and can we please have previous Pvp Feast rewards in Wolfsden shop, Gimme a reason to spend my trophy crystals.

  4. this is the second time Yoshi P recommended doing Warring Triad and Eden. The first time was during the latest live letter.

They are definitely doing something big with those story threads.

  5. I think in regards to trusts and optional dungeons it's a mixed bag. It wouldn't be like a huge change from some of the later ones which are closer in design to modern dungeons, but the optional dungeons (especially the hard dungeons) have some of the last vestiges of truly unique mechanics in normal content that they could simply never code an AI to do which means they would be removed. I wouldn't want to lose that.

Things like the cannon fire battle in Stone Vigil Hard, the way you have to protect the test tubes and feed the Minotaur boss in Fractal Continum to avoid a huge damage attack would be lost forever.

However there are certain other ones like say Wanderer's Palace where the unique mechanics like acquiring the Lamp Oil to unlock doors, and the way you have to avoid adds to not power up the final Tonberry have not aged well and doing something like reducing the overall number of lamp oils you need and putting them in better spots or redesigning the Tonberry so the adds are a relevant decision about how many you need to kill instead of just burning the Boss's hp to the point the mechanic is irrelevant would be good changes.

So I think it would be a balancing act between like improving on old jank, but trying to preserve some things that aren't just dodge which I think they took a bit too much away from in adding duty support to the msq dungeons.

  6. I understand they (Yoshi-P and team) can get worried about how we the audience will think of the game when they release the story and other things, considering how many people play this game and how many different opinions there are out there.
For me, FFXIV in general, but Endwalker especially, the great community, the gameplay and amazing story has so far and most likely will continue to be the best game I've ever played. Mostly because of the immensly well-written story and how it all connects throughout the entire game. Even sidestories. The way you as a player with your WoL/D character actually feel like you're a part of the story and not just a side-note.
I'm 42years old now, and I've been playing all sorts of different games since I was around 7years old. Nerd full-time bro.
But FFXIV, I love this game, it's just so f-ing great through and through. Sorry for the rant.
Thanks for the video! Nice Q&A!
