FFXIV Fanfest 2023 Cosplay Was NUTS – Final Fantasy 14 Reaction

FFXIV Fanfest 2023 Cosplay Was NUTS…from the Final Fantasy XIV con in Las Vegas. FF14 cosplayers from around the brought their A-Game, and here’s my reaction to their parade. On the Final Fantasy 14 event stage, we got see IRL transmogs of catgirls, bunboys, lalafells, thighlanders, chocobos, loporrits and even a Hrothgar. Many fan favorite characters showed up, like Hildibrand, Graha, Emet-Selch and Meteoin. There were even job class costumes for Red Mage, Samurai, Machinist and more (there were some insane gunblades). And everyone simped for Nophica. Get ready for serious glam.

  2. As a female, if I were that Nophica, I'd be showing off those boobs with pride. I mean, why not? She just passively walked in. Gotta be confident with those things! 😂 Maybe throw some flower petal confetti at the crowd, too. It was an on point Nophica fit, and she was beautiful 100%

  3. So my friend and I were there in cosplay as well, but missed signups for the cosplay walk. Regardless, these were only a smattering of the people there, as the cosplay photo meetup was massive. So many great costumes, so many thrilled people giving eachother kudos and tips, it was a joy to witness and be part of.

For anyone considering cosplaying, but who thinks it's too hard to look good, I want to tell you to just go for it. Do your best, and you will learn and improve as you go. Don't let the fear of not getting things perfect, prevent you from trying. It was my first time doing it, and only my friend's second after almost a decade, and we got so much love from our fellow fans and other cosplayers, and even the devs. It was an amazing experience I want everyone to have. So just do it!

A bit of kudos I want to send out as well to the Senor Sabotender cosplayer whose name I didn't get, for they were having a hell of a time with their costume between the murderous heat and what sounded in the repair room like something in the head not working right: You are awesome, and a badass for persevering.
