  1. As a Greek player, these skills make more sense than you can image. For example, Egeiro comes from "εγείρω' which translates to rise / wake (sth) up / Stimulate. Eucrasia is "ευκρασία" which means good physical condition

  2. I can't help but feel Sage should be held up against White Mage as opposed to Scholar. Obviously their the 'shield healers' so there is going to be some comparison, but both SGE(?) and WHM seem very front loaded. Where as SCH and AST have alwayd felt like "right tool for the job" type jobs

  3. I've basically given up healing because it is incredibly boring in anything less than the hardest content. I have no hope for them changing healer design overall, but maybe Sage will be slightly less mind numbing to run dungeons and trials with. I still have almost no hope that I will return to being a healer main though. Been burned too much by SE on that.

  4. I'm just here hoping they're not gonna release a unique healer class and with the next changes take everything from it that made it unique again. coughastrocough

'cause the sage does look really fun at the moment

  5. I can’t speak to how it plays or the overall flow but it seems like the approach to Sage is similar to their approach was to Gunbreaker; “Let’s take this defensive job and make them feel as busy as a DPS.” And I’m all for that, Gunbreaker was my favorite tank in ShB, and I’m super excited to try out Sage.

  6. Sending this on mobile so I can't give a timestamp or anything, but if you look at that 5-stack long-cooldown buff, it expires and heals (I'm guessing) everyone with the buff. Looks like an AoE Excog, or something similar.

  7. Never been more excited bout a job. I was never too fond of healing mostly because it's always this mystical mage.. but when technically is bought into it I'm sold. Pretty sure its gunna he my main job

  8. Seems to me that, between the two Shielders, Sage is more geared towards minor shielding and moderate healing. If so, then Scholar will probably be the counterbalance: stronger shields, but less raw healing than Sage. Looking at the HP bar, the shield from Diagnosis looked about as potent as a Benison, which is not nearly as impressive as a SCH Adlo in terms of strength, but is more frequent. Sage makes up for the smaller shields by also having mitigation and heal steroids to complement their WHM/AST partner.

  9. so. sage has dark arts?
I love looking at the sage and reaper job designs and just thinking to myself "wow people are going to be awful at these" like. samurai and rdm are pretty simple and people still were bad at those. sge and rpr? fml we're in for a rough time with these lol. 0 dps whm picking up sage are going to be such a detriment to their parties.

  10. I’m not gonna be watching this or the reaper video. I want to discover the attacks and Abilities for myself. That’s part of the fun of learning a new job. The unknown. So I’ll be discovering everything about the two news jobs myself when endealker comes out

  11. Sage is burst healer, they have a lot uptime dps but at the same time their kits aren’t that strong because of a healer compare to tank and dps. Reaper is a bit rigged if you consider the playstyle, it’s technically an upgraded version of RDM with beast master so mobility is the king of most of these new jobs.
