Feels like a lot of players don't take full advantage of the glamour plates system. It helps tremendously when you want to have different appearances on the same set of gear (crafters and gatherers). And I feel like it was made to be used in conjunction with job-specific glamour appearances. Instead people seem to use it for their 3 different color variations of the dalmascan draped top..
Personally I use 8 of them for DoH, easy to know which crafter I'm on and I get to really customize each one's aesthetic
Id love a system to let you wear certain crafter gear as glam. Maybe if you have the crafter class maxed or atleast at level, something to allow those special sets to be used and maybe push others to try crafting.
most excited for? Im hopeful for more hairstyles for bunbun. anything else is just a bonus.

Minions are cool, but it would be amazing if certain mounts could also walk around. Or if there was a garage for vehicle mounts.

thb, I won't move out from Tonberry. English speaking players on Tonberry/Kujata are not just AU or NZ players there are a lot of SEA players as well (I think it even more than AU/NZ since there are a lot of AU/NZ players who play on Primal) and for SEA players chance are stay on Elemental would have less latency than move to OCE.
DoL & DoH Outfits Again with current glamour system nobody gonna use it as Glam , SadFace

People will be getting Ishgard housing, that would mean my FC will swoop in and get a mansion somewhere since they would get a mansion somewhere in Ishgard. So we are prepared. 😀
God I wish I had the glamour plates to actually use the crafter specific gear sets
With the housing district being from the firmament restoration, does that mean that you'll no longer be able to level your crafters/gatherers there?

I'm sorry to say but all the hard work they put into making new doh/dol outfits is kind of pointless if we still only have 15 glam plates to work with

What I hate the most about all the DoH/DoL things is that there isn't enough glamour chest slots for them to be worthwhile. ESPECIALLY if they're locked to each individual job like the Firmament costume chests are. I'd want some of them if space wasn't so limited. I'd have preferred an upgrade to the glamour chest over the island (first), honestly. lol

Might be a stupid question but the fact that the new alliance raid is under "patch 6.0" tab makes it a little confusing.

If its anything like ShB artifact sets for land and hand disciples then I won't be using the gear as glamour since we dont have enough plates for them and even when we got a ilvl 1 version of them they were still exclusive to themselves and not usable for any other job or class.
I really hope they continue fixing The Brume in Ishgard! We are done with The Firmament so now we need to continue the questline for my people in The Brume!
NZ player here. I'm staying on Japanese servers but I might make an alt for OCE – I just love how polite the Japanese community is. I haven't had a single toxic experience in my entire FF14 life. From what I've seen of American and European servers things can get pretty wild. No thanks.

So if they are putting housing in the Firmament, what's happening to all the Firmament stuff? Skybuilder tokens, fates, fate tokens, the Diadem, leveling up through skybuilding… (I got all my DOL from lvl 60 to 70, and a few of them even farther, there — after that I just made a ton of rarefied items to finish leveling)
Speaking of DOL (and DOH), I refuse to get separate gear for each job again. It's an inventory and $$ nightmare. I don't care how 'cool' the outfits are. If gear is only useful for DOH one job out of 8 (or 1 out 3 DOL), it's impractical and unrealistic. If it's just glamours, fine, but if it's the only higher ilvl gear available, I will be extremely annoyed.

I can't wait for this to come out. Ironically I applied to another job where I work and while I hope I get called it won't hurt my feelings if I don't. If I do I hope to god I can still take time off for when this comes out. A job is a job a release of a exp is something different.

I always felt like being able to party up and do duties with DC Visit would be a given, the least we would get. Without duties, it would feel so hollow, like hop on to a diff DC just to say hi and bye. I'm more interested in the social restrictions like friend requests and marketboard access.
I think it would be best to temper your expectation with island sanctuary. If its better than doma reconstruction with a minion/gather theme i'd be happy but thats where my expectation are. Doma 2.0 with minion theme instead
I agree some of the Gathering and crafting armour looks really nice it's just a shame that the Glamour version for any class is locked behind the Asian mog shop
god the fishers coat is so good we need lv1 all glams of these.
i hope "duties" include weddings! that's something i get invited to a lot and i don't want to have to keep making alts for it.
