We have played this game since Stormblood, and have listen to your covers since the RBY Gym Leader cover back in the day.
This is maybe the best rendition of a Final Fantasy song we've ever heard covered. Props man. Every once in a while you do something we know and always crush it.

Ngl, the whole reason this theme was absolute peak in the game was the contrast and combination of gruesome guitar riffs, struggling violin notes and hopeful choir singing — something you just can't really match with only guitars.
Still, I highly applaud you for having tried to invoke most of these aspects this way, and ultimately Forging Ahead with and in spite of it. 👏

Conspiracy Theory: Soken put this as the Mid-Boss theme, because he likes it more than the Endboss theme, and this way it plays twice as often (because there's 2 mid-bosses per dungeon rather than 1 endboss) 😋
