Great guide! Most important rule as a melee is to turn you brain off and just keep uptime at all costs.
Joking obviously. This is a really good baseline for all new and old melee players to improve their gameplay 🙂
Always greed, no exceptions! has 8 vuln stacks
Taking notes.
Can't wait for the samurai guide update. Was going to get back into the game but I'm going to hold off until I find a good guide lol
Even though arms length doesn’t really need to be used in normal content it’s nice to get into the habit of using it I believe just in general and if you’d ever want to happen to get into higher end content then it’ll be one less thing you have to focus on
I'm majorly a caster/ranged player, so the difficulty that I have is the mindset I can just stay at melee when avoiding aoe instead of disengaging. I always forget that lol 😆
I love that you explain things like double weaving and don't just assume people know about them.
Great guide mate! Quick question, what type of camera movemant are you using? I'm having problems running back at the boss, when there is a mechanic and I just want to squeez in the last GCD, cause the camera turns.
So limit breaks are a dps lost. Never touching that button again.
Do melee positions work inside the boss' hitbox or do you have to be outside?
So how do positionals interact with "giant" bosses? As in the ones who stay at the edge of the arena, and you can't feasibly reach their flank/rear. Do you still have to use True North to get full damage? I feel like there was at least one such boss that was treated as "omnidirectional," and positionals were pretty much given for free. I might be remembering incorrectly, or using information from an unreliable wiki…
Someday I'll be good at ninja c:
