  1. Nascent/ri being moved to a 400p heal instead of lifesteal sounds a bit disappointing*. The job feels at its most fun when you can pull everything and be nigh immortal as long as you're hitting them hard enough. More frequent inner release and primal rend just doesn't look compelling enough to sell me on it, especially if all the tanks are moving towards self healing.
*if it's 400p/target then that's way too far in the other direction

  2. I really just want to know if Bloodwhetting / Nascent Flash gives 400 potency heal per target hit, or once per weaponskill use. Maybe 400 potency is enough with the potency changes but it will still feel strange if its just a singular heal per skill.

  3. One question that is on my mind is why raw intuition/bloodwhetting are separate skills from nascent flash. They basically do the same thing with the only difference being targeting self vs party members. Seems like raw intuition could just upgrade to nascent if they give nascent the ability to target yourself to get the dr buff. Then upgrade nascent into bloodwhetting at 82 and let bloodwhetting target party members. Maybe they don't like changing ability targeting on upgrades or will make the buffs different somehow, but those are the only two reasons I can think of.

  4. So Warrior looks pretty meh. Never thought I would want a return to the 4.1 Warrior but at least then gauge management mattered. Didn't think I would want them to keep Shadowbringers Warrior either but they appear to have ruined the best part of the job, Nascent Flash. They totally kept the inability to use the same gear as other tanks, ineffective use of any raid buff that grants crit or direct hit, and almost ogcd free rotation though, I'm sure everyone totally loves those things./s

  5. Honestly this is pretty disappointing. I hope they reconsider letting us have our current style for fell cleaves. Why would they nerf nasceny also it is so satisfying seeing your health just raise back up from all the attacks you do in massive pulls. I will remain optimistic but I am certainly not happy with the changes.

  6. Not happy with the IR changes i wanna spam my cleaves and i very much liked weaving in my OGCD's between my cleaves for Direct crits and more damage but it only crits on fell cleaves and decimate now which is meh..

  7. I just can’t look at storms path animation for 2 more years. For the love of Yoshi-P, replace storms path animation with the old butchers block.

    It’s reaper time.

  8. Not a fan from this. Feels like healing nerf (I don't think 400 potency cure is worth our current 50% heal from dmg done), potential dmg nerf (onslaught during IR isn't Crit/DH), and removal of identity (major healing tank, since now most all tanks have similar self healing effects) without addressing a major issue (More materia issues since now it's gonna be harder to determine if we want DH or if not, same boat). Probably time to swap tanks.

  9. Inner release is a massive nerf as it no longer makes other attacks (including auto attacks) direct crit either, just 3x fell cleaves/decimate. The shorter 60 second cooldown will not make up for this. Goodbye being the king of tank burst damage/tank opener 🙁

  10. Omg….. War is BACK baby!!! 😎
All of the changes I need to once again be my main tank.(tho stats suggest that it'll be the only tank I use going forward, and I'm ok with that)

  11. I see some ugly homogenization going on here, at least in tank sector. The changes to shelltron/intervention on PLD look exactly same as the Nascent Flash here, same with healing added to Divine Veil and Shake-it-Of, so individual tank jobs are losing identity except for personal rotations. Not a fan of this trend at all.

  12. I'm glad that onslaught is off the beast gauge, cuz that was pretty frustrating, but I dislike upheaval being taken off. Having to think about at least a little is nice imo.

  13. Sorry guys maybe it's me that see it this way , i'm kinda new to ff14 so maybe i'm missing something but nascent flesh was not suppose ti recover healt based on damage done? If they change it you heal for each skill use it's not a massive nerf to warrior selfhealing?(especially on dungeon/multiple mobs fight)?

  14. I know I said to myself that I was going to stick to my guns and play the Tank I've been with since the beginning, but after seeing that the Endwalker leaks were true and IR/Nascent Flash got changed to this stuff…I think I'm gonna just quit tanking all-together and go full DPS-main with Reaper and SAM until they decide to do…something about WAR. Not sure what, but anything is better than this.

  15. all these fancy things . .. and the only one thing that i actually care about, is getting the healing aspect of nascent flash by lvl 56 instead of 76 :). . . at least on yourself. now when i have less experienced healers, I'm less reliant on them. . and can double pull freely even with inexperienced healers :). and wont' despise doing lvling dungeons on warrior as much.

  16. I was hoping they’d rework the 123 combo animations like they did with mch since they’re so slow and boring.

With only upheaval and onslaught that you can weave between them it looks like you spend a lot of time just waiting for the next step.

War is kind of losing its appeal to me, I mean look how flashy and grandiose Paladin is now.

  17. Kinda sad that no more IR and go ham with a tonne of SS stacked, but overall great changes to WAR. It literally gets nerfed in some way at the start of every expansion though lmao

  18. Also, because Upheaval isn't tied to your gauge anymore, that means over the course of three minutes, you get an extra 120 beast gauge, AKA two more fell cleaves on top of the 9 fell cleaves you'll use in IR windows, as well as your three Primal Rends
