"I'm not touching that soundtrack with a ten-foot pole," I said. "I'm not going near anything with that many microtones," I said. And then I did it anyway, because Soken apparently owns my soul.
Because of those damn microtones, I had to rewrite and even skip some parts. It’s one hell of a soundtrack, but it was clearly not intended to be played on the piano. I had to make some changes to make this work. The parts that do work on the piano, though? I have to say that I love the drive in it.
As always, the arrangement is written for people with tiny hands like me, but I do admit that having some extra range would have been nice in this one. Pinky jumps are never fun.
