I want the male outfit for my female character :(( they really need to stop making genderlocked glamours. I got the female glamour which I really like but the male version would suit my character so much more

It is basically a modern take on Hanbok(Korean traditional dress), even the back design.
Damn, the only thing gonna be popping up in limsa is gonna be the male version hat, pants and boots. The rest kinda 8 dollar garbage. For both sets.

I hate hats and always hide headgear on my character, and I’m finding it hard to judge whether or not I like the male outfit because I’ve not seen it without the hat. I think I might like it? I like that the skirt part doesn’t dye, it annoys the crap out of me when something dyes 100% even if it’s normally different colors? (Like the ravel keeper caster gear, it dyes the feathers too and looks ridiculous.)
Yeah not gonna lie these are an absolute pass. I'm not really a fan of the weird.. skirt? thing? that the male version has going on. The pants and shoes are pretty nice, and the hat (while not my style) seems ok.. but for $18, it feels a bit lacking. I can't really name exactly what it is. Maybe it's the dyes.. maybe it's the skirt. I dunno. I actually like the female version a little more but it still has the same sort of issues. I think some parts could make for good bits in a glam outfit but not sure if they're worth their price. At least they're available now, I suppose. For those who DO like them that is. Still sad that buns and cats can't have hats but maybe SE will fix that at some point. Here's hoping, right? Maybe? Please, SE… fix the hats..
So we can get new glams, but still no update since october on adding the rainmaker hair to mog station. Since the code for it is already in the game it shouldn't be taking this long to add it.
The men's outfit was worth buying. Hopefully there will be more denim jeans other than tantalus breeches. I make do but I've never been a huge fan of leather pants.

Its a really nice set… but personally, I'm not into that flap on the back… It kinda ruins the silhuette for me 🙂
As for genderlock, that's fine by me. I don't mind difference for male and female versions, after all, we have enough armor and glamour sets which are for both… I'm not complaining… but I stil don't like that flap…
Not the Biggest fan of the hat for the females it just looks like a comically over the top cowboy hat. Everything else looks fine for the female the boots I could see going with other Glam's for a more maybe modern vibe.

Don't like the skirt and veil on the "female" outfit and mostly like the pants on the "male" one. Wish I could combine those. Also thinking the whole gendered clothing/outfits is getting very old by now. Let everyone wear everything.(just like irl)

This is a super late comment – BUT the male outfit actually has some… FF13 Snow attire vibes to it. I don't know if anyone will see this and confirm it in-game somehow if the attires could be mix-matched. But it is indeed – Streetwear.
