Something I keep telling is that FFXIV is NOT an MMORPG. It's a jRPGMMO. In other words Final Fantasy first, MMO second. Treat it as a Final Fantasy game first and foremost, after that you can start with the MMO side of things
And even funnier yet XIV is much better than any of the single player final fantasy games in like the last 15 years lmao
I tell people to try it when they're in the mood for a single-player RPG. The MMO part comes after that.

it's a single-player RPG, then once you're done with the RPG part, it becomes an MMO.
