THAT WAS FKING INSANE. Pyro is godly.
Funnily enough, I made that clip. <3
big brain move hahaha
Good writing that actually allows the one experiencing the story to be able to predict things ahead of time and become invested in their own character's reactions to certain situations? Who woulda thunk!
if you can predict dialogue or story moments and it makes sense, that's just hella good writing
This man is so deep in the story he's seeing where it's going
He is fully the WoL now

I was not disappointed.
Gigabrain CHAD-Level Pyromancer! Its such a joy seeing him interact with the game
Isn't it awesome when the writing makes sense and you can predict it buy thinking what would be appropriate?
The difference between 'Player Choice' and 'Player Expression.' When done right you can tell an amazing story, even if the outcomes are always the same, and yet still let the player express themselves in the way that fits them best.

THIS, THIS is what is meant by the idea that not all "good storytelling" has to be swervy and surprising for the sake of it! When you can feel the arc happening, and it aligns with the expectation of archetypal genre stories, THAT IS A GOOD THING, that means the story is staying in its lane! There are times to surprise and amaze, but then there's "and this should happen next" actually happening! That is ALSO vital to a good story!
I quote hime every chance I get
"For those we have lost. For those we can yet save."
I love the fact that this game just never lets you forget those words. They come up again and again.
