  1. I will check out the new benchmark, just to play with the costumizer 😉 Also, I would recomment you all turn off your shaders for a couple days or weeks. We are so used to those shaders, we hardly know how the game looks vanilla. So how are we to appreciate the updates if we cant even see the difference? I think this grafics update was long overdue. Some things might not have been necessary but I'm curious how the new lighting will affect the old zones, let alone appreciate the effort. People are way too eager to tear something down and talk s*** about it instead of just take what they were given and say "thank you". Is that so hard? Critique is important but there is a difference between critique and bs. And most complaints were bs.

  2. Not sure why they need to have the weird indent at the side of the mouth in so much. Because of that, there's weird shadow below the cheek, and sudden highlight just below the lower side of the mouth. While the current one is smooth from cheek to chin. So it made the character face looks different from what you are used to. Also the lips shape changes.

I think the kind of medium- harsh shadows below the cheeks of a lot of female characters is what I have problems the most.

  3. This give me the same feeling as TOP which was full of bugs. They are really spending much less time testing stuff or acknowledging the feedbacks of QA testers. This is worrying, especially when SE and YoshiP are refusing to implement a lot of QoL things that modders are able to do in a few hours. I have a bad feeling about the future if this continue like this.

  4. I am alrready spending an ungodly amount of time in the current benchmark. So I will download the new one. And do the same thing, but with a new coat of paint. I do wonder if our saved character files from the current benchmark will be saved for the new one since it is not in the actual game, to have where to pull from.
I don't have a problem since I had memorised my character's appearance and can recreate her in my sleep, but for the people who made the perfect characters but only have their saved data from the current benchmark. Hopefully this is noting and they thought about it.

  5. oh look your toon got ugly and now your crying about it….sounds all too familiar in other areas of gaming…the woke are crying for the thing they created and pushed on others…the hypocracy of the woke FF14 community

  6. Image being so mentally fucked up that your character changing the slightest bit is enough to trigger a complete nuclear meltdown.

This community needs a reality check sometimes.
