  1. These are absolutely brutal, was having no luck at all for over 2 hours straight crafting. I'm just hoarding script mats now and I'll get around to it when the expansion hits, with new gear. I'd go crazy trying to farm yellow scripts repeatedly only to fail on the last step because of procs.

  2. they made this very unfriendly to new crafters.. and i would have rather made everything from the books… guess ima have to wait till next expac get these cuz right now tis impossible for 80 percent of the community

  3. Honestly with the amount of patience and effort required to crank out 60 of these final crafts for a single tool, even with bis gear? Then with there being other tools available that are comparable but much easier to get. These tools clearly are just something for people to do while waiting for the expac, and probably also the ultimate weapon equivalent as tools.

  4. Eh honestly I would just use these for glamour myself. I feel it's not worth the effort just for stats.

But it is something to consider next expansion when it be a little easier. Thx for the guide! Little less overwhelming to figure out.

  5. I'm mixed on this. I want to do them but the fact it's pure expert, not sure if I really want to BUT unfortunately I'm stubborn and none in my fc really commit to crafting aside the ishgard titles and stop, I like trying to stay top tier so 😅 here comes the suffering

  6. It wouldn't be as bad if they would let us exchange components that are too low collectability to move to the next step. It's soul crushing when you try to refine a component B and you can't do anything with it cause it's too low. Gimme some kind of material refund consolation.

  7. Yay I’m excited for a real crafting challenge and some glam to go along with it! It’s almost like a ultimate crafter tool where it sets apart the ones who know how to do more than just smashing a macro someone else wrote lol.

  8. It's a very nice video. But it is most unlikely to do it with a straight face. I am on it since 3 days (with pauses) and I am sitting on 16/60 final components.

My final fear is, that they will do the same thing they did with ultimate: To keep the rarity of these things, it is not possible to do them unsynch. In return it means, I fear that they will add a level synch just for these recipes. I might be wrong though. Would be a pretty lousy move to those who are waiting patiently for next expac and then this happens.

    Hopefully I am wrong.

  9. I really hate expert crafting but at the same time find it a challenge which I want to conquer.

I also have a fear that SE will do something in the expansion where the first "OH MY GOD, I HAVE TO HAVE THIS" glam (or god forbid, new CRAFTER GEAR) MUST be crafted using one of these resplendent weapons. Can you imagine that? The crafters who did this grind now will be GODS until everyone else catches up.

I like this guide but… wow did you get lucky with those three good conditions when you went for byregots. My stats are very similar to yours – I have maybe 30 more cp but 20 less control, and am really struggling with these. I did the expert crafting for the latest relic weapons just fine but these are in a whole different league. The method I used there, which involves a lot of condition fishing with Observe, just doesn't cut it

  10. Oof, it really seems tough. I understand that this is SE experiment to do challenging craftings, but depending that much in luck, even pentamelded, is not nice. I guess there is no much room making crafing harder than making it more RNG-y. :/ I really love crafting. I have fun with endgame crafting and I can see how nice would be to have one of these tools, but my sanity is telling me "Love yourself, don't do it".

  11. :0 that's amazing! Do you know how the skills work all in your head? I always default to the teamcraft website and macros cause I dunno how to craft by hand. ;w;

Could you do a video on your method? Like a guide on how to craft by hand and how to craft with RNG? I saw in your other video you used the calculations menu @_@ (have never used it cause I'm completely dependant on my macros). I feel like I could like crafting more if I could craft more stuff based on understanding without having to worry as much about losing EXPENSIVE materials cause I can't see the cause and effect of my actions. And seeing as you exhibit clear understand of what you're doing it be great to get a crafting guide from you ;w; I would love to know how to read difficulty of craft, how to judge craftsmanship & control & cp. I'm a level 80 omni crafter but I feel like a ten year old that hit puberty hard and fast and I'm lost and confused.

  12. If you do decide to do them this patch, before level 90 arises then:
    – Don't burn yourself out. (If you do love to craft though that shouldn't be an issue.)
    – Learn to accept that you either did all you could or learn to accept failure if you made mistakes along the way.

It's a really noteworthy achievement if you do decide to finish these before Endwalker though. I'm totally tempted and I'll most likely give it all I've got. Sounds pretty fun.

  13. For me, this system has 2 big flaws:

1 – Tedious over Difficult. Let me explain why.

The items are difficult to craft? For a newcomer or a guy that used mostly macros? YES. Of course. For someone that had bad ping since heavensword and got used to manual craft each and every recipe: no, thats pretty much the norm with a little more difficulty and a lot of rng.
Most of the craft is rng manipulation and trying to score at least the score for the item exchange, you may find 1 round of perfect pliat and Primed. But you will find a LOT of rounds with nothing, not even 1 proc. Lets not talk about the rounds wasted on Rapid Synt not working at all, even on centered.
You get the buffs? Its far more easy to get 1 item
You dont get the buffs or enough collectability? Restart from Grade A > B and then retry Grade C.

1- The quantity over quality, I know it seems like a joke as we are talking about expert recipe that cant be exchanged if you dont reach a specific quality.
On a perfect series of crafts with the min required for the item exchange, you will need to craft: 240 Grade A, 120 Grade B and 60 Grade C. —> 1 single class out of 8.

As of today, i would have prefered to have (only) 60 Grade C difficulty items as the only option. Mainly because reaching 7k collectabilty aint a joke with todays set, even pentamelded.

Wait 6 months, get the new crafting set and this thing will become a joke as long as they dont synch our stats to a max value like synched dungeon and min itemlvl do.

  14. I kind of dont like this. I mean… the RNG with materia melding onto crafted gear is bad enough, but up until now, everything about crafting and gathering was just a matter of study and routine. If you leveled your crafting classes, updated your gear, and acquired a moderate level of HQ mats, literally anyone could become an omnicrafter given enough time. This seems almost entirely dependent on RNG and seems to be SE's method of dealing with people who craft with macros. To which I'd say "let me play the game the way I want"
