  1. I've never seen someone so happy to read an encyclopedia and it is my everything! Your love of lore is SO contagious and it makes me tear up that this game I love is feeding your excitement.

  2. Dammit, he's getting further and further ahead of me lol. I know I can just q for Nidhogg and catch to him really quickly, but I'm really trying to solo it for personal lore. Ugh, I really need to get off work soon and try again!

  3. The way Yoshi-P answer Drak i knew my money is well spent on this game. Its rare to see a developer understand what gamers is saying about their game and to see it Yoshi-P thinking out loud about the design and gameplay on the fly without reading any notes.

  4. Seeing him so happy about reading the book was the most precious thing. It's likee giving a child exactly what he wanted for Christmas.

Also, wow, he got to Stormblood so quickly, it feels like.

  5. stormblood lore may lackluster than other 3 expansion even ARR but if you like a war story this is def for you and what makes stormblood successful is the contents and side stories is way too many even compare to SHB, stormblood contents is still unbeatable.

  6. I think more than anything else, I love seeing these welcoming tributes whenever a streamer enters a new set of content. It really shows the openness of the community. Also: hooray for new lore!

  7. I’m not sure about this guy. I’ve heard good things and it’s always great when someone is interested in the lore of ffxiv… but every time I go into his twitch he’s either being belligerent and insulting his viewers or writing in a notebook. I have stopped by randomly on several occasions and have always been greeted with this behaviour. Last night I came in I guess right before this, watched for a few minutes as I was excited to see someone new get to stormblood. He was writing in his notebook the entire time and missed an important scene and when his chat tired to tell him what he missed he told them to “stop losing their minds” and “who gives a shit”. I left feeling a little down as I heard he was super excited about the game. I’m assuming he’s writing down notes about the story, but he does it so frequently that it messes up the pacing of the game and he actually misses out key on parts of the story. And then gets mad that his chat is passionate about him actually experiencing the story properly.

I also saw him “congratulate” someone for subbing to him…

Anyway, he can run his channel however he likes. I don’t have anything personally against him. Actually, it’s the opposite, I have spent so little time actually watching him and every time I have has been extremely negative. Maybe I’ve just caught him on a bad day every single time, who knows. A lot of people seem to like him so I can’t say one way or the other.

Not sure that I’ll be checking up on his progress again though.
