  5. That was fun to watch! It's always a pleasure to watch someone get bitten by the raiding bug, just like I was for this game. Regardless whether you come from other mmos or not.

    I will say, for savage raids, it would be great if you could get a full 7 other friends to make a dedicated static. But pugging people in Party Finder is 100% viable, like you guys did here. Best of luck on any future challenges you take on in this game!

  7. this is a pretty good video and i'm so happy to see the sprout i once knew and laughed at taking his first steps into Extreme Raid Progression.

  8. So heres the thing its not even a real raid to beginn with its a Ex trial meaning still easier than savage i know there are some exceptions for that . besides the only true raids are savage/ultimate .
    Yes there are normal raids /alliance raids but i hate calling them raids cause they are brain dead easy .

  12. I really like this fight, it’s far better designed than the first and third extreme trials (I haven’t done the mom ex yet), and I have this fight memorized enough that I don’t need a guide, and I mainly play whm too, so this is fun

    if you only play Blackmage, that's great – Bmage main myself, I respect it
    Your hotbars are stressful af
    Hotbar-menu macros changed my life, they can do the same for you
    Please Kevin, for your own sake, just search a guide on getting them set up

  20. I'm glad you had fun. As long as you have the patience and determination, you can clear anything in FFXIV. You may have noticed boss fights are like synchronized swimming. Everyone has something to do and if one screws up, the entire team suffers. It's even more so with Savage raiding and Ultimates.

  21. Oof, Barb is a ROUGH first EX lol. If you're not used to the "rhythm game" nature of a lot of XIV fights, this is be tough fight. Heck, I was trying to get 615 weapons a few weeks ago and people were still wiping this fight months after it came out 😅

    This fight is the epitome of a "dance" fight in that once you know the steps it's easy, but the downside is that a lot of the mechanics can't be cheesed if someone's partner is dead (so at least you have to learn the fight and can't have your dead body dragged across the finish line)
