  1. Once again Hermes is to blame for everything going wrong. His own unchecked curiosity, complete free rein, mixed with his mental and emotional issues started this whole mess with the final days

  2. Neat to see how exactly the new worlds started out. I'd been curious. Everybody waking up and not even having a language must have been insane. No wonder it bothered him so much, that'd leave a very powerful impression.

  3. As if I need any more reasons to fall in love with this character, Square goes and gives us the immediate moments after of the Sundering, and Emet-Selch's reaction to it. Just to twist the knife a little further, a little deeper.

  4. It'd be pretty interesting to get a crossover where you hear from Emet what he's doing but it's framed more like a good thing, details left out that paint it badly, and you help him get back to continue his quest. Something that'd intrigue people who don't play FFXIV but would give added context, perspective, and be a nice "Oh shit" moment for players. Double points if he's in a different but similar body and the reveal is made right when he's sent back.

  5. I think this crossover was nice enough to not spoil anything for people that havent played FF14, while also giving enough nuggets of lore for people who know, like what happened right after the sundering, in the first umbral(astral?) Era

  6. I always wondered what Emet saw right after he, Elidibus and Lahabrea left the rift.

To have even a small insight of what they saw almost right after the Hydaelyn kick is both interesting and frightening.

  7. I desperately want more stories of the Ancients. Considering that Square-Enix has never said that all the ancient stories are done, only Hydaelyn and Zodiark, gives me hope that their story may not be done after all.

  8. Ancients lore in my favorite. I hope they don't stop indulging us with tales. Emet Selch is my favorite FF antagonist and want more of him, even though his story has come to a close.
