I have teamed up with twitch chat to make a list of what changes we would like to see in World of Warcraft to make the game enjoyable again!

If they were to introduce a "mythic 10 man" and some sort of "hardcore 20 man", they should share lockouts so high end guilds don't feel obligated to run both or some shit.
Outside of the facction thing (fix the Alliance) i agree. HATE PTR. They spoil EVERYTHING. Thats hurts immersion, that hurts hype.
These ideas are great! i support this actually.
I always talk about this with my friends.
I'm lying my friends don't play anymore. Thanks Blizzard.
I think Hogger should be nerf
About the spec thing:
Something that really hurts the experience is: Weapons. Once we got our main weapon, open a way for us to craft/generate an alt weapon for the other spec with the same power.
The non gear/power content already exist in wow. it was called Mage Tower. Its the same idea. And opens another mini game inside wow. Because everything scales down to x's item level that let you mix and max gear from other patches to use it in that place exclusively. I personally love that.
Removing the wow token will only encourage more spam from people selling gold for real money, and it'll also encourage more attempts to hack accounts and steal gold, and the people that have been buying wow tokens will continue buying gold from gold farmers for real money, risking getting scammed and banned, which will end up hurting the game eventually.
I think it would be difficult for blizz to execute some of these ideas, as good as they are. Removing the token for example. They have mutated wow into a game that a lot of players hate, but also we have to keep in mind that a lot of players love. Some people only know wow from WoD/token onward, and removing that option to pay for your sub would probably make a lot of their remaining players leave.
So the position they'd be in if they considered removing the token: Making a change like that would risk losing the people that are currently playing at the risk of the players who left the game still not coming back. While I would love to see the token removed as it probably dealt one of the harshest blows to the player economy and crafting, it makes them so much money I can't ever see them realistically considering removing it sadly.
Anyway, I appreciate you still having the energy to put into offering them suggestions. I've moved on and I have spent all of my patience with the Ion iteration of the game. If they have a leadership shakeup maybe I'll look at the game again, they just exhausted me and I'm too pessimistic about the game now.
Housing, wow is behind a basic MMORPG thing as it is housing, makes the game look old and not up to date, how can they not have housing? And garrisons are not houses, they need real housing that I can earn furniture and statues from playing content
Get rid of dailies, make them weekly. So no need to login everyday to do quest and rep grinds!!
Also maybe a token or something after you kill a raid boss and you don't get gear. So you can use it to get a piece of gear. Sucks doing a full clear and only getting anima!!
Remove the stupid M+ scoring cap to use the Valor points!! I have over 20000 VP and can't use it at all!!!!
You cant remove wow tokens and still have players be able to play with gold, those ppl are essentially playing for free and blizz is making no money from them so makes little sense from a company point of view. Just removing BoEs and banning boost would solve the wow token problem imo.
in the end of the day , most of those streamers that rushed to play FFXIV, came back to cry about wow instead of Staying in the SOOOO FREAKING GOOD ( according to everyone's opinion) FFXIV.
If FFXIV is so much better then why cry about wow and not just play FFXIV?
I think people are just TOO hard when it comes to critisizing WoW.
Things that will go unoticed in most mmos, will cause big complains and tears in WoW.
Truth is that wow Spoiled them so much, gave them the best gaming experience in their lifes, but now 15+ years passed and people got Old, boring and pathetic.. Blaming for every single thing, the game itself, just cus they couldn't keep up with the changes over the years.
People even blamed the game for the meta-slaving situation in classic ..they complained about the NO CHANGES, after they specifically asked for NO changes… people just dont know what they want overall.
i am not saying that blizzard is perfect, it's not.. they fucked up the game over the years but people make it sound MUCH worse than it actually is.
And yet they still play the game.. why dont u play FFXIV since it does everything better? I dont get it.
There are two better options in my opinion. 1. Just remove Racial abilities. nobody would bother anymore after 2 Months.
2. Just offer PVE Servers( No Faction difference and combined Rading/Dungeon etc.) and PVP where you basically still fight alliance and horde.
Battleground and arena excluded from exlusivity for both server bc even pver sometimes want to PVP.
Also reducing Raidsize would be such a big relief. How hard is it to find 20 People that have the same amount of time.
I mean i come online want to raid but then i have to wait 1 Hours for a full group and then i dont have the time anymore for a full raid maybe depending also on how "Wipey" it is.
10 is quick done and you go and have fun. Also you can former a better group that fits your level of skill.
Copium
23:49 : If you let a M+ key be used in any dungeon, people will inevitably find the easiest one and everyone will just do that one, leaving every other dungeon empty. A better solution would be to not have the option to keep using the same key for more attempts at the same level, but still provide something of value if you finish the dungeon even if you don't time it.
As Preach said, a sub is active even if you're not playing the game more than even just an hour or two a day, and so someone shouldn't feel like they're being forced to stay in game 24/7 to stay relevant. Remove the player-power grinds. Make the game fun instead, and people will log in.
Removing the WoW token removes the ability to pay for the subscription with gold. The only reason it works is because someone is buying that token, which means that they are paying for someones subscription for a month. Without that transaction, it's such a loss for Blizzard. It's the same with Jagex and Runescape bonds.
Jumpguura cuts the video in 10.000.000 pieces :/
I fully agree with all the points, but basically, you are saying that blizzard should use most of ff14's concepts, so why not play ff14 then instead and leave WoW for good?
100% agree, spot on.
I feel like the hardest content in the game should be non-mandatory and offer cosmetic rewards and collectables. That way people who really want to do that content can do it, but people who just want to farm their gear don't feel frustrated because they can't progress after hours of trying.
i just wanna raid mythic with the lads. but when its 20man it just loses that personal touch. a friendgroup just isnt 20 big. and heroic is too easy and mythic is too hard
