Congrats on your first dungeon, I'm really looking forward to following your adventure across this game's wonderful story and really love how much attention you give to the dialogue. Stay healthy, stay hydrated, stay strong!
It might've gotten a little lost in all the spectacle but these first few dungeons lorewise also let us know that under the bright sunny adventure we're starting, the world itself has a lot of dark stuff going on. The example here in Sastasha is the human trafficking. The women you free have a few text lines they'll do if you stand near them. They weren't exactly treated like VIPs for their stay with the pirates. Also worth mentioning that based on the boss that shows up at the end, we know 100% that this specific crew was indeed working with the Sahagin (fish people) who worship Leviathan.
its simple to tell where the bosses are, they all have a wavey purple boundary line that indicates a "boss room".
comment burps
Id like to see the titel: „competitv wow player trys his first savage“ someday
For a starter dungeon i really love this one, and it sorta gives me deadmines vibes, since we breaking into this pirate hideout! Very fun and im glad you enjoyed it!
I havent touched FF14 in like 2 years but recently been thinking of going back to it, last i played I mained White Mage lv65 and Black Mage lv60, and a little Samurai Lv57 lol.
This dungeon brings me back to when I did close testing for the ARR before it was released. good ole early days of FF14
Good for them for showing you the full map, lots of people run through without getting all the side rooms.
Fun fact, the hall of the novice song is the battle theme from final fantasy 2.
I still chuckle at "It's Probably Pirates." and the sequel "It's Probably Not Pirates."
Congratulations on your first dungeon! As you get more levels you'll get AoE skills and be able to burn mobs faster. Also, don't worry about ninja looting. A majority of people that might be following you around will have better gear. Eventually, you'll be able to turn in old gear for special currency to get more goodies.
youre a baddie fr cant wait to see you get to end game! the dungeons later on are way fun ❤️
Dragoons get their aoe rotation late compared to other classes.., dungeons (with so many mobs we aoe), might feels a bit less satisfying..
=> hold through!.
…
and (early) dungeon bosses die FAST, .. they are more fun later, hold through!
Ah, Sastasha. I'd say it gives me the nostalgia feels, but with how often it pops up on the levelling roulette I see it almost daily! XD
