That is not 100% accurate ^^

-Paladin has "Circle of Scorn" and "Goring Blade"
-Gunbreaker has "Sonic Break" and "Bow Shock"
-Darknight has "Salted Earth" if you wanna count this as dot
    -Machinist has "Bio Blaster"

  2. The term "twink" is mostly used by germans, almost everyone else uses the term "alt" even in wow for exmaple same like germans use "dd" alot for damage dealer even tho almost everyone else uses "dps" other than that helpful video for newcomers 🙂

  3. about oGCD, they have different animation durations, some of them prevent movement while the animation play out and usually have long duration, too. This is called "animation lock", most infamously dragoon's jump. IIRC there's no caster oGCD that lock. You can test that on training dummies but generally, melee oGCD that involve character model move around a lot (Jump, Assasinate) usually lock.

  4. Derplander is new to me. I've always heard default trailer WoL referred to as Meteor. Another one that I hear a lot of new players get confused by when I use it: WoL. I've had to (happily) explain that WoL = Warrior of Light = Your player character to a bunch of sprouts. I think the confusion could easily stem from the fact that your player character isn't actually referred to as "Warrior of Light" until right around the end of ARR.

  5. This is a great way to introduce new players to what people are usually talking about, I had to either learn by myself (good or bad way) about lingo and was confused for quite a good time about many of them until someone told me or I deduced what it was. Great job!.

  6. Great video! ah my younger sprout days of not knowing what AOE stood for, or what a DoT was or even what a Tank was! I really was new to this type of game, this being my first (and only) MMO. Another good video I'll point newer players in the direction of if they are totally lost in what all this jargon means. One thing to always keep in mind: We were all new once.

  7. I've seen lots of references to "stacking" (and people running away when it pops) but no one has really been clear on what to do. Rather than "not" do. Have you mentioned this somewhere already?

  8. Wish you would have talked about "Prog." "EX" "FC" (Since most people refer to this as Clan or Guild), Damage "Up Time", "Jobs" vs Classes, Job "Rotation"

Feel like these are very common lingo people need to know too. Perhaps it's a bit more complex but still good lingo to know. Those of examples of stuff I didn't know about 5 months ago.

  9. Twink/twinking is a term we used in WoW to lock your characters exp and farm the best gear possible for that lvl you locked your character at, to dominate pvp with them, or for when they added timewalking dungeons/raids

  10. honestly even after playing this game for like 6 months i still don't really like the long GCDs, its more bareable than when i started but still really noticeable especially when playing a class that doesn't have a lot of OGCDs.

  11. I have to say being new to this game I hear a lot of terms on chat and I literally try to look it up before I comment because I kinda feel dumb when asking in chat what a term means
