tries not to brag about own house I grinded all 7 alts up to get them rooms in our FC house so there's themed rooms with alt character names serving as room names. So much pain, so worth it >:B [Spriggan,ShiroW9P1 if anyone's interested; some stuff is still WIP]
What you should totally check out regarding housing, anyway, is custom out of bounds jumping puzzles people make. It's wild. Did one during the pride parade event this year and it was a blast.
I truly enjoy the housing. I have a fc apartment but I love the freedom and creativity it gives you to do.

the FC home are 100x better. they have separate bedrooms for each member. up to 8 to 13 members. plus secret rooms or vip rooms.
Yeah, FF14 have the best housing system on any mmorpg (and one of the best in any videogame). There is a double edge on it, in that, it does require quite significant amount of server bandwidth and space, hence why housing plots are a limited resource. we do get more plots all the time as they continue to update the servers and the dev team continue optimizing, but the game have grown faster than they have been able to put more plots (and atleast on NA the problem of most people clustering on aether datacenter, but interdatacenter PF will aliviate it and if they add interdatacenter matchmaking/duty finder, it should fix it and make more people move to the more empty servers from dynamis datacenter)

Housing is amazing. If you wanna do some more house touring, come see my place in Dynamis! Goblet, ward 14, plot 8. I'm just really proud of it and wanna show it off to someone, hehe.

You should see more houses. These were ok, but when we are making claims of insane housing. Some belong in a paper back book called "Dream Homes of Eorzea."
I finally got a personal house in XIV when they added new plots back in January or February. So far my decoration of it has amounted to lots of trees in the front yard (one of my friends says there are too many trees), and then inside I have… a Verdant Partition and an Indoor Oriental Garden. I swear I'm going to get around to decorating it once I finish leveling my crafters all to 90 so I can make my own furnishings! And the upcoming Moogle Tomestone event is going to help with the furnishings too since Verdant Partitions are going to be available.
