I was so worried that all the people with you were going to die. I'm glad that wasn't the case.
Heavensward was my favourite expansion of FFXIV until Shadowbringers came along with its great story! And I concur about the character development that's happened throughout the entire game, especially for Alphinaud. I also love that you can sympathize with Emet-Selch but not condone what and how he went about his plans. Plus, the story with Ardbert and what happens after the Warriors of Darkness arc in Heavensward was just the icing on the cake.
Id watch you reacting to more FFXIV content. Also I have to say that your character is GORGEOUS, omg i love her so much. I kept getting distracted from the gameplay by just how good she looks
so glad you got to finishing 5.0 😀 Shadowbringers story was so gooood. same person that wrote the Dark Knight job quests and i still think that job had the best job quests. kinda sad we're not getting more job quests in Endwalker 🙁 Really do like Alphy's character development thruout the game and how he has grown to many people who didn't like him at first. he was my son from the start T_T
As far as Gaius recognizing the Emperor's voice he would have known Varis personally since they held similar military rank for years. Zenos gave himself the echo and hopped into the body of a resistance soldier at the end of Stormblood. He's been lurking around in various cutscenes since.
Did you notice that Ardbert's axe was no longer bloody at the end? He's no longer carrying the burden of guilt for the death of his world.

FF14 just does villians with real reasons for what they do so well.
Dadcred definitely had some delightful character growth this expansion.

Fantastic reaction, to an amazing scene (no?) – this sequence of events has turned video game aficionados from every generation into Final Fantasy devotees for good reason. For a little clarity's sake: Ardbert was a piece of your "soul" the one from the 1st, he rejoined with you, both empowering you, and repairing your soul from the light wardens influence.
