  1. At this rate both Azur Promilia, Neverness to Everness, and Project Mugen would be out before Blue Protocol global 😭

Also what happened to that Project BBQ game, wasn’t it the other anime MMO players were hyped for? Didn’t it change to some generic soulslike game that no one wanted?

  2. As someone who has been playing the Japanese version of Blue Protocol for the last few months, I think that it could be released in its current form and core players would have a blast with it. That being said, the modern MMORPG player is so used to there being survival aspects, crafting and building that is extensive and one event after another every couple of weeks. This game isn't that and shouldn't be that. I very much enjoy the core gameplay loop. If it never gets a global release, that's fine. I'd probably continue on with my current account. It's simple and fun and doesn't bash you over the head with complex systems. Easy to group up with people and tackle the short dungeons. The only negative thing I can really think of is that when you are in the major hub towns, there are a ton of people just standing around or dancing at the spawn in point. Anyway, I just wanted to say I think the game is not broken and it's at least fun for me. Peace.

  3. Shocking Rollercoaster we've been on the past handful of years. I think throne and liberty is officially at the top of my list which is sad because it was at the bottom before. It's improved a bit sure but the main reason I put it on top now is everything else has canceled, flopped, or delayed so far.

  4. Bamco's SAO Integral Factor is still there. Other MMO mobile games meanwhile is so cashgrab to EOS is so dead to me (Square I'm looking at effing you!).

Today, Sega's PSO2 feels new to me as a new player and a great throwback since playing PSO on PSP.

  5. mobile versions of games in china doing well seems like it could be common. A shame we didn't get the FF11 mobile version. a FF14 mobile version could do well too, especially if it's mostly just bared on the story and outfit stuff. They could abandon whatever they do midway too.

  6. i'm sticking to emulators because i rather play on my pc that i know will always perform well and am better at using then on a phones or tablet where i know i'm going to have some issues even if i did put out for a top of the line phone.

  7. Square Enix should not be teaming up with mobile trash companies like 10 cent, it will be a terrible influence when it comes to predatory microtransactions and beyond evil gacha mechanics. I don't want that sort of stuff introduced into my favorite mmorpg ff14. I'm aware they already have an in game store, but it's reasonably fair and doesn't overshadow the gameplay nor deny users access to high end cosmetics and mounts which the devs still put into the game with each expansion, unlike most mobiles which put nearly all cosmetics and mounts in their stores and add a nasty gacha garbage to empty bank accounts. Also mobile trash often leads to heavy pay to win which often leads to the games ultimate demise down the line and loss of credibility and good faith with consumers.

  9. I'm hoping we start to see more VR MMOs. I got into VR for Zenith and they just announced that they wont be updating it anymore and outside of that there are maybe 3 more MMO style VR games that all have their own flaws. I really just wanna see a sword art online style game or Log horizon. Multi class, floor clearing MMOs should have been created already its what everyone dreams of playing so why has no one created it yet.
