Dude i still remember a few years ago, i always watch this girl in Twitch who keeps track of all the items in marketboard in an excel and updates her spreadsheet live! Literally the only thing she does…it was very entertaining!

A big part of making Gil with crafting is also gathering your own mats. Leveling even just one of miner or botanist will cut Gil you spend on mats in half practically.
On my data center, the exarchic gears are only around 40-50k for each. I can't really get rich by this method T_T. What I'm doing now is crafting mats or gear and doing treasure hunt+roulette.

I was wondering how to make a little Gil to buy exarchich gear for Alts. I don’t craft and only play 1-2hours a few days a week. Usually just log on to work on capping tome stones or progress on artifact weapon.
LMAO me as new player just buy all the packets at the store 500k gold for each make around 50 million with less then 200 dollars and buy all the 510 gear with 5 enchants on my new Dragoon so i guess is no that hard to get gold wen u go the ez way LOL
I'd love to know if there was a way to farm raw gil that wasn't awful as I am someone who HATES crafting. Shit even farming mats for market board would be fine too.

Goddamn, Exarchic is so expensive on NA DCs. In JP DC, basically everyone is an omnicrafter and each piece is like 30-50k.

All the Exarchic Gear goes for below 100k on my server, but holy shit people sell it for almost 500k??? god damn
I have made 515 million Gil since Shadowbringer release. Within the last 2 months I am averaging around 1.5 to 3 million a day selling things. I’m not going to say what I have have a Monopoly in, but even if you server hop and check out prices, buy low and sell high can make a easy million a day. But the MOST important thing I can tell you is “STAY ON TOP OF YOUR AUCTIONS”. Don’t just list it once and come back the next day. You should always check up on it when you are near the retainer bell or killing 5 minutes before your queue pops.

Hi im a new player (started 6 days ago) and I started with mining as my DoL and currently level 57. I was wondering if you could point me in the right direction to make money. Should I just complete the MSQ, hit 80, and level mining to 80 and just gather a ton of dolomite/hard water?
There isn't a whole lot you need gil for in this game even if you are looking to buy a large house. I haven't crafted for profit or farming gil in any way since crafting with specialist crafts was the only way to make money. HW I think? I can't recall. I own a large house, play only a few hours a couple nights a week yet still have a little over 300 million. Just don't blow your gil on ridiculously overpriced HQ gears that you will replace through normal play in a matter of days or a couple weeks.
The exarchic 510 gear has been pretty trash on aether (at least on my server, goblin) for the past few months. Many of the pieces routinely drop to 50k or less. I don't know about other data centers. There seems to be a high number of bots right now as well. Obviously I can't really "prove" these people are bots but it's pretty obvious as they all follow the same pattern for most if not all hours of the day. This isn't to say that there's not gil to be made, but it certainly makes it harder. During stormblood I could rake in millions of gil a day crafting the high end gear, but now the rate has slowed down significantly. I have talked to my crafting friends and they say the same thing as well. It's just unfortunate that it used to be way more worth the time and gil you have to put in to actually level and gear the crafters.
I think I might even have one of your pieces on since that retainer name looks familiar =P …Im not from Shiva, but its the cheapest place to get that gear. Like 100k cheaper xD So ty hehe!

I'm starting my gil grind again because I want to gilded mikoshi mount. Starting with making a bunch of chicken fettuccine which sells for about 3k a piece (HQ) on my server.
Will have to do some exarchic stuff.
