Endwalker is the latest expansion for Final Fantasy XIV MMO that introduced Pandemonium, a new 90 eight-player raid series for FFXIV 6.0. Asphodelos is the first raid of the series, the first raid of Endwalker and the latest content of Final Fantasy XIV.

Those weapons are so ugly. I play Warrior and i don't want a Styrofoam hammer.
The absolute laziness of this times weapons/gear.
Even crafted 580gear is just a recolored pvp gear from Stormblood.
Edit: Just saw the Dragoon one, also a reskin lol . Theres a fork spear already in the game xd, this one is just wrapped in styrofoam.
Ima just stick to the weapons that were made when SQE made banger weapons, IE Heavens Ward.

The name might be greek, but the runes and the ornaments are definitely nordic, germanic, celtic (infinite knots, and threefold druid knots).
So yea… to think of Vikings is more appropriate than greek.
I love how weapons are sophisticated. I think it was even needed seeing how many people are going for elegant glamours
Not impressed. Samurai sword looked generic af. Well ofc, what else you gonna do with it, except leave it like they are. Lance looked stupid af.
There is an explanation for the simplicity of the weapons looks but it would be a massive spoiler. It will have to wait until Asmon gets there in the story but making the weapon design more complex would totally go against where we are now in the story

Asmon is fuckin bonkers, Claymores are apparently "Vikings" and any light runes are Nordic, forget all those other runes, their all nordic now too.

Asphodelos is a place from before the Sundering, and literally everything about the Ancients is Greek inspired, from names, culture, architecture etc.
Bard's get a lot of harp bows but I think the Greek theme fits the concept so much better than most of the others. The angelic vibe it gives off reminds me of something like a renaissance painting.
I feel like this entire weapon tier was basically made to show off how cool Sages can look though like…did you SEE that? 0.0

Not really a fan of SAM but that katana makes me really want to start it up again! Replicas for that are going to be amazing! Can't wait to see 3d print + LED DIY projects for it and all of these!
The broken then repaired with light that some have, especially DRK, is going to look amazing irl!
unfortunately, the pure white and yellow/gold eureka armor is exclusive to tanks and the white, silver, and green set is only for drg and rpr so sam couldn't use it
These all feel more like Sin eater themed weapons because of the bleached white look they all have and the bright runes, but given Pandæmonium’s Greek/ divine comedy inspiration, the weapons fit very well with this raid tier’s tunics and robes. While it’s believed that Greek art and architecture used to be painted, I think the white marble looks really great.
