this was my favorite trial when it was brand new. what was cool back then in extrme mode was if you pull the boss at the correct timing you could actally align every single mechanic with the beat of the music where the stared(*) numbers represent a mechanic and the pattern would repeat

the cooler thing about this is that in hawaii we have the Obon season which is traditionally japanse, and the last song played to end the summer long season has this beat with emphasis on the starred numbers!
